i was grinding at the earth taoist when this lvl 2x (maybe someone in lvl 2x gear) started to pick up the gold on the ground, i was like wtf? (if i am doing a trade run, i want to get to the destination ASAP) then he got attacked by a earth ghost giant, he didn't even try zerking his way out; so i blasted the giant for him; i just thought he was just greedy and no zerk, but what i found strange about him is that, he runs to certain points, then stop, then runs to another point, and stop; the process repeats over and over again.

is there are such a function for bots to do trade runs?

yes, a friend of mine saw a few of these in DR and I saw one...its kinda funny if the person makes a mistake and gets a multi star. lol!

95% of what you think are bots is simply some guy either multi clienting or using multiple pc's ( Same thing :s )

I have spoken to 4 of the ex-main Olympus so called trade bots and I concluded it was 2 guys using multiple client to trace them. It really isn't hard. In most if not all it's NOT A BOT.

There is a new trade bot under development... maybe THEY were the ones testing it.

After I quitted SRO, I ventured out into the real internet world.

I found lots of bot projects.. and YES.. there are trade run bots and I saw from one of the bot forums they are making a trade run bot.

What's with these people making these kind of programs?

got it.

where they get the trade bots name is because they bot their chars prior to trading. they go trading when they feel they are high lvl enough to avoid being robbed.

trade bots do exist. many have witnessed them.

But the person you listed didn't sound like a bot to me.

we have a trade botter in tibet aswell.. yaoyang, doin like 100 trades through dead ravine with multi stars, was long time ago, here's picture:

If you would earn enough. Let's say in the early stages of a server you bot your character and 5 others to let's say 20 lvl's above where a legit could dream of. Let's say a lvl 60 on pacific now.
He could be doind 5 5* all day withotu ANY of you touching him.

That's what 400k a trade? so little over 2M in 30 minutes. + Drops from npc thieves etc etc. It don' seem liek much but 30 minutes, theres 48 of them in a day. Could be roughly making 100m a day trading.

Sure there are maybe SOME trade botters. But like pictures above me and in most cases it's just some chinese guy looking for some easy and fun cash.

The OL's and they Oyea's on our server were not trade botters. Simply 2 guys with alot of clients running. i got to know them and eventually found out they work for powerlevel.com and just like to do this, make money then afterwards bot/grin a few hours.

well the char u lookin at.. tukker when it hit lvl 57, yaoyang was still daily tradin.. always the same group of people.. doin like 20 trades a day.. ><

Yes, It exist if you would look enough you would find one, still in development.

Greece server had them to, i thought it was, _F1_ and _F11_ that kind of botters. They where banned a couple of months ago.

Oh, there isn't one out yet as far as i know, but some guys are working on it .
Then again, i find a trade bot useless, unless you run multi clients.

Bit of an exaggeration. A solo 5-star is hard enough without having the possibility of double-double spawns and only one person to control all five chars. And if it's early in the server his gear will be pure shit. He'd have a hard time with 5 3-stars, never mind 5-stars.

yea, i am pretty sure they are just azian dudes, with multiple pcs doing trades for the gold companies

yes there are, i even had a friend from china doing it.. his ign was banbana before he got banned, actually he was protecting 3 trade bots (asi,wki,lookt), banbana wasn't afk while they were,
all got banned on massive bot list.

well the thing about a trade bot is that the only thing that is a bot is the people riding on bulls
there still has to be a person that is the main hunter usually being 1 trader with a horse protecting many bulls(the bulls are the bots the person doing the killing is a real korean or chinese work slave)
like on oasis for example Prince_2006 used to be part of a trade bot group he would be the real person doing the killing while he would be protecting 4 or 5 bulls

they would do this almost constantly... and when i wanted a free ride i would simply trace the lead bot and prince would kill my theivs for me... at that time prince was in my union so he had no problems helping me out

there are bots that just walk from one town to another and other bots that trace the lead bot but you still need a real live person to do the killing... im sure someone could come up with a program to do the killing to but as of now this "said" program does not exist

Like I said 2 people. One is a hunter the other is the lead bull with a few others TRACING him

yes but they have made a program that can move the lead bull and move the tracers when they cross the bridge
that way all the hunter has to do is focus on killing

moogie and dem used to deal (kill) with them often. The post has serverd its purpose, people have different opinions. posting in bold in large font isn't going to change someone's mind it's going to make them flame you.
