I don't know many of you and but there were some cool people I met in game and those I will miss.

I am too disgusted with Joymax to waste another minute grinding, when the game is full of cheating azzholes botting to cap so I'm off.

My final thought about this botting situation is this -

Those of you who feel you have valid reasons to bot (instead of the insanely stupid way of levelling - the grind) have missed the point.

The game is an opportunity to develop character, to achieve a series of goals honorably and most of you don't get it. Joymax, by policing these cheating behaviours so pathetically have done all of you a huge disservice, by allowing the development of dishonest gaming practices which will become patterns of behaviour in your future lives.

Yes, it's a game.
No, it's not only a game.

The journey is the destination.

anyways, if you want to play anotehr one, im playing Scions of Fate ( well now i had a bug but i will see if now its fixed =) ), the graphics are not exelent but its funny and its a good comunity

I was an Oasis player as well but did move to Pacific to join a new group of friends. The botting in Pacific is probably worse than any other server because a bunch of lame kids think they will gain ultimate respect / power / uber-coolness for having reached the lvl cap first. And I've come to the sad realization that I used to respect all the high levels when I first started playing this game just a few short months ago. I was quite naive, didn't know anything about bots vs legit players.

Now the situation is growing ever more rampant with no resolution in sight and watching fellow friends and legit players say farewell in there frustration is getting so disheartening.

But after reading dozens upon dozens of farewell threads, and "bot ftw/ftl" threads I've finally said to hell with it all! I am not quitting this game for anyone else but me! I will not let someone else's bad habits make me feel inferior and I will not let anyone or anything ruin my enjoyment!

I don't play the game for anyone's respect, tho if you did it wouldn't go unappreciated ( )I play the game for me and I am proud of my achievements, no matter how small they may seem. I laugh at my mistakes and weaknesses but I learn from them and carry on. Of course I want to reach the lvl cap, of course I want to build a strong character but for my own pride I will do it under my control, without the use of automated programs because that's what makes me feel good about it.

Yes, JoyMax does need to care more about their community, it's customers and free players alike! Hopefully a day will come when their deaf ears hear our cries for action. And all I can do until then is to support the legit and rally against those who are not.

Perhaps one day I will grow tired of the bullshit, and I'm sorry that you did. But for now I play on, hoping to keep a few legit friends a long the way. You will be dearly missed.

lol... what we mean when saying "it is just a game" is this... do not take the game too seriously, do not let it take over your life, do not let it piss you off to the point of doing stupid things, and most of all, dont let the game become real life for you. thats all...
