Sad to see all those topics on the general discussion. JM has GOT to take steps. From right here, this moment. They can't keep on hiding the truth since sro is growing out LARGE.

More and more bots are coming day in day out all i hear is BOT HERE BOT THAT BOT THIS BOT THAT all i see is bots ksing me at the Yeowas on Pacific.

Sad is what it is, this game is dieing.

2 bots at level 60 cap?

My point is that there werent a lot of bots during the 60 cap.

Exactly my point - JM has to take huge steps now it's dieing as we play it. If you have a look at pacific, hmmm, 85 % of all players bot? Maybe more, no bullshit.

As i lvl hard, im surrounded by bots all day long, every time some bot turns my way and starts nuking i go *yawnnn*

its becoming insanely pathetic.

I have to say Twysta that was a very mature post and i think that has to be answerd there are many reasons why people are falling out of love with this game but the main reason why people are LEAVING is the botting problem. They have known who the botters are for months they either chose not to ban them out of lazyness or out of incompitance. Either way they are responsible.

How ever JoyMax for all their incompatance when it comes to running the game seen to be able to cover their asses in the legal department very well. As in no place in their policy does it state that botting is a banable offence, It states "illegal programes" what is an illegal programe.

So they arent entitled to ban people for botting it is in now way even implied that they will in their policy stated on the website.

They only ban gold botter because they are the only ones that they can ban player bots dont sell ingame items for realworld cash so they arent contravening any of the policies.

So instead of asking DW why they arent banning player bots maybe you should ask why they arent changing the policy stated inorder to make using a bot a bannable offence.

Ok, here it is. Kinda sux you can't use stuff like "" and () that makes ppl misunderstand a lot.

I play since the very start of silkroad online. I couldnt be bothered sleeping that night because i had so much fun playing. That week i played so many hours... After that it was just normal 6 hours of lvling and questing a day.

The 60 cap - maybe 2 bots a server
The 70 cap - bots all over theplace
The 80 cap - Is there a word for this?

I spent MONTHS, DAYS, HOURS AND HOURS of grinding. I spent over 500$ on this game which i think is quite a lot. I love silkroad. My love for silkroad is dieing. The bots are invading every single server day in day out day in day out botbotbotbotbotbot day in day out. All i see on Pacific all day long is BOTS, They ks me to death. Ignore, ignore and more ignorance. Im starting to doubt the truth of joymax, especially morningdew

I could write EVERY single thing ive been through to the last detail of it. but i think you get the point.

I have a few questions for you morningdew

Why dont you hire any new GMs ?
- Its really hard to find people qualified for this job
- Is that so? Im not so sure about it since i bet you that you can find over 20 people in one single day that are willing to be JMs employee - FOR FREE.

Why dont you ban bots?
- It takes time to ban the bots, there is a lot of time going to the investigation of the bots.
- Nonsense i tell you. Take 30 minutes of your life onto Pacific and bring your banhammer, 100 bots banned.
- Maybe JM doesnt ban the player bots - they have only been banning goldbots - because they buy silk? Lets see, JM is a company, a company wants to make money. Player bots buy silk - that means money. And not just a little bit of money, TONS.

Why are there simple bugs like this one not fixed? I am not putting them all here, because its not really that much of a matter. This one has been here SINCE THE FIRST DAY.
The very first thing you have to do in this game - which is going to the west gate - is bugged. The beginners quest brings you to the south gate while the NPC is at the west gate. Nice intro for the new people

Whats a glavie? Look it up in a dictionary. Its glaive.

I would like an answer for each question morningdew. Dont say you dont have the time for banning bots, because its simple to hire FREE EMPLOYEES that are qualified for the job. Maybe its because JM doesnt want to let the world know they are a company? Meaning they dont ban player bots because they buy silk money for JM?

I have spent over 500$ int his game, half of that goes to global chats , cursing and flaming the bots, day in, day out. I end up in bed thinking about the $ i just wasted flaming bots. I hate bots in a way no single person will ever understand.

I see people leave this game daily, its a sad matter. Im starting to dislike this game..."

nothing will be done :\ botters mostly use GTs too.. so they'll never ban their most paying customers

@ Twysta If you starting to dislike this game... Is Only for you to quit. is not so hard. And I belive some enlarges up it too much . And is not only you who I spent $.. And you now is not easy to ban if the dont have real evidence not only he/she bot or ss.. And perhaps you do ?!

No so this is not contribute ?..They cant ban bots in 30 min be very wierd if they can and if someone not bot, You now can be very expensive for them if they ban wrong accound and if the accound owner buy silk from them. and again they must have real evidence .
They told this meny times but olmost no one want listen on it.

I know I am not morningdew but I will help her a bit. Did you see the requirements? Knowing korean and english. The ability to relocate cross country etc etc. With those qualifications you are gonna have a hard time finding people. Granted this is all the fault of the requirements put forth by the korean parrent company. There is no real reason for those specific requirements.

They don't because they cant. They have to deffer to the parent company in korea for action. And in korea things are different. Bots are not as big a problem. Therefore they need litle attention.

I already said this, when the New GM's in the USA Office get the ability to ban, so get all the powers of a Korean GM, the botters will be a little problem in this game!!!

Bot in korea is like rain in the desert it's very rare, because they ban botters each day and they don't even try to bot, because they will get banned!

You mean, Silkroad will be DEAD when bots get banned, since 90% of server population use bots... :/

I'd happily see the servers barely full with a handful legit players than capped to the max with illegits who ruin the whole concept of this game.

When this game is bot free it will not be DEAD it will be reborn people who have left will return theere will be spaces for people to join servers it will be like the olden days:

No more global spamming by imature idiots
People may actually help each other instead of just "STFU Noob"
People may not get pissed off 5 mins into a grind
There will not be accusations being thrown around all the time
