Il leave out the obvious answer. "to get to lvl cap"

For me it has to be the enchantment system. Seeing a wep/armor which is sos,som,sosun +3 to +8 with full blues and high ass crit and with high phys and mag atack and reinforcement... well its pwnage.

The enchantment system in SRO i think is by far the best.

And producing these weps yourself is the thing id love to do the most. I cant afford to but that is what gives me the motivation to carry on playing.

One point id like to make which i think is important is this. In all mmos where you can enchant a item or wep, it cost alot of gold right. Well we all want to see a good reward for spend this amount of gold. And aswell as the increase in the weps power SRO gives us the cool looking stats and all the rest. We hav all seen how poeple like to show off there gear in SS.

These stats i describes above and the layout of the weps info and the look of the weps and graphics combined, is why i still play the game.

Far beter than say SOF where your uber cool wep is portrayed in a small black box with 5 at the top indicating +5 and about nuthing else on it. WHERE IS THE FASINATION TO MAKE A UBER EXPENSIVE WEP WHEN THAT IS WHAT YOU SEE HUH"

So yea that is why i play. How about you guys. Is it just to reach lvl cap or is there another reason like me ?????

i like collecting sos, and friends hehe.

I play it for the same reason everyone else should play it.. to have fun

I play it since the start and i still play it everyday since.

I love silkroad.

ok answers apart from friends and lvl cap pls. Freinds is what everyone likes hopefully unless your A L O N E R lol. but try name sumthing that keeps u hooked to SRO instead of wavering off to another game. Something that this game gives you that others dont like my reason ^^

Yeah i like to lv slowly and have to play more......Not that slow so i can get bored fast...But yeah

what keeps me in this game is that i have great friends who unwillingly donate to me everything they have... their characters, their sos, their gears, etc

what keeps me in the game? well, I suppose those dances I do to keep the horrible ???????? away...and of course the guys in suits over there who say they'll...wait, you cant see them? over there! *points at thin air* *passes out from lack of sleep*

I stay in sro because, I like this game, its fun, and I got some good friends in it, haven't been on much lately though, the way it is makes it hard to like anymore, so friends are pretty much the only reason for now.

i stay cuz im addicted and i want to be the best
ive got a great group of friends that i play with and they keep me coming back
but mostly cuz i want to completly own the server

i stay cuz one day i wish to be 80 and than murder every single nuker that as ever ksed me while playing sro..... to them know i'm coming

1) I don't need any other people to level.

2) I plan on killing NIKE and their union shitless someday.

i got the sos52 glaive drop when i was Lv46 from a Ujigi within a few minutes from log-on


what keeps me in silkroad is...

TRADE RUN!

in the future when silkroad will be completed, i will want to do a 5-star from the farthest end to the farthest end, i don't care about how much profit it will make but i want it to succeed, perhaps meet friends along the way or help some...

i hope Joymax will want to put more alternative routes (not just east and west or north and south) for trade runs, more options for traders and more challenge for thieves!

hmmm. For everyone who says friends as there reason why. How come you dont log onto msn? if they are the only reasno why then surly you are bored having to kill mobs and do quests ect.

You can job with, pvp, grind together and kill uniques together with friends.

I dont think you can do that with msn =)

SRO scenery, may it be jangan (most fave) the cave (statues FTW!) DW (earth ghost FTL-ol!) hotan (that hot repair woman. *eeep!) takla (all that sand! sandness galore!) completing a set of gear, then becoming a shutter bug for a few levels with it. to own idiots in game. and most of all, for world peace.
