+5 and SOS

hello..
i would like to know if a L21 blade that is +5, is it the same as a SOS L21 blade ?

more or less yes.

Otherwise your down to Blues and % stats


but they are roughly the same, depends on price :)
Level : 80 Spear Int Capped and Farmed !
Guild : Guildless
Farmed SP : Finished Farming

Id rather have a plain sos than a +7 wep.

They are not the same.
Sos is better because all of the base stats are higher.

The thing in bold doesnt even exist. But yeah like what wegan said id rather have a plain sos than a +7.

SoS is better than +5. It has higher base reinforce, attack rating, parry ratio, critical, block, and possibly durability. Elixirs ONLY give higher damage.

Yes, the stats would be basically be the same +5=sos

and I know sos is much much better, but for attack and mag damage, sos and +5 are generally the same.

But a Sos can be plussed too.

Anyway my 64 is doing till 72, so its all good. Its almost identical in stats to a 68+5 0% phys, so theres not much point wasting money bluing a 68 up :D

I like to think of SoX items as completely different to the weapon/armour/jewelery piece it corresponds to. It just makes more sense than saying SoS=+5 or +7.
