reinforce is more important than you'd think. start making ruby stones, young padawan.

does it really make that much of a diff? I have never done any testing with reinforce, can you explain it a bit to me?

it affects your damage more than str does

on my nuker i was looking for a 42 sword, but normally you would find 4x items near east gate in Hotan, but there was literally NO stalls, cause everyone at 4x bots.. so i go to donwhang, find a 42+0 lucky 1 for 280k, i buy it, get +1 and +2, takes the lucky, and it fails +3, then i spent around 4.3m in elixirs and powders trying to +3 it and it just keeps failing to +2, i gave up, this game is so rigged i swear it hates me ><

My lvl 26 spear with +91% mag. reinforce and +60% mag. attack does more damage than my lvl 26 +2 spear with less mag. reinforce. The good thing is that most people who sell weapons don't take the reinforce into consideration when pricing it, so I bought my spear for about as much as it would cost if there was a lvl 26 NPC spear.

reinforcement has NOTHING to do with damage. it's about how fast durability goes DOWN when using either phy. or magical attacks.

i have heard about what you are saying, and i am pretty sure you are correct about reinforcement, im pretty sure it doesnt affect damage. If it does, i havent noticed it.

There was a whole thread about this, and calculations proving that reinforcement DOES increase damage.

easy way to test.
make a lv1 char, buy 2 swords in the shop.
so all %'s are 0
on 1 sword up the reinforcement with atleast 50% and nothing else.
see if your damage goes up by 1 or maybe more. when using the sword with upped reinforce%.
then we have our answer.
anyone care to test it? i'll help.....
we won't need calculations, and can see hard evidence with our own eyes.

Read this please, get your facts straight before Telling people their facts are BS.
and at lvl 1, the damage difference is too little to even check damage, im pretty sure at lvl 1 the spear and glaive are only 1 phy. damage apart.

is that supposed to be impressive?
no offense to poster...but alchemy is so easy (Full Blue in first go) for me but i'm 3rd degree so maybe it gets harder higher up?
it probably gets harder...damn...

No it doesnt get harder, sometimes alchemy on an item is easy sometimes it isnt. I have done a lot of alchemy on my items and at times they were easy and on other times they were not.

You know, YOU should really be the one to test this BEFORE you come in here opening your mouth
