FFS so now people must change server cause they cant never login.Im talking about Xian.Only thing il change server is server traffic,thats pathetic

Every server is as crowded as the other because JoyNax seems to think that just creating more and more servers with the same capacity will sort out the problem, erm no?

What JoyNax needs to think about is increasing the size or whatever the correct term is of all servers to reduce lag and disconnection. I feel your pain man, you just have to get used to leaving your game on and not logging off.

Or on the other hand you could try logging in at different times to see which time is easier and carry on logging in at that perticular time every day, for me that time is around midnight so yeah, sucks to be in my country.

I can get on xian no problem cept when its peak time but then again i dont play on peak I afk stall ^^

even you get to log in , the lag will drives you insane
as for me, evening is the best time to get in....with NO LAG

it would require an upgrade of the hardware that the servers are hosted on. which in turn would mean transferring all of the data from the current servers into a new box/es. which would probably require a 24 hour or more downtime. All of this costing joymax money due to hardware costing money and downtime leaving people unable to purchase silk.

currently it's clearly more cost effective for joymax to create new shards for each server instead of introducing more boxes. once the scales tip the other way, and there is more for joymax to gain from upgrading their servers then we might see significant improvement.

for now, quit bitching. We know it's laggy at times, and we all have to live with it. just try to play outside of peak times, I know of people having lived at night, playing sro through the night because thats when the servers weren't packed.

Ok i can understand now why the are just making new servers and not making the existing ones bigger but man your saying it as if people don't have a life at all except for silkroad, it's great that you know noctournal people who sleep through the day and are awake at night but tbh i have a life and people shouldn't be forced to go to such measures just to play a friggin' game.

Whats taking up server slots now is afk grinders aka botters, Not the stallers, or lack of server capacity.

Gold bots + Player bots that are on 24/7 take up the majority of the space when they fix this boting problem we should see an improvment with server traffic untill then everyone has to suffer.

Like me, I can login at 11pm and the lag goes at 12.30am. I'd rather go to bed but then I'd never ever get to play the game

I can login when ever i want it ..Yea is sad when some others cant log in but is not always becose the are packed /server. But can be yours bad connection and i belive som country dont have good line to internet .

Could well be, I know distances can sometimes make things slower. I don't have any speed/connection problems on any other sites or downloads though.

I'd stay logged in all day but then my dvd writer would have a fit with a game running in the background trying to copy a disc lol
