Questions about vehicles

I'm now at level ten and I was thinking of picking up a horse to help me get around the map faster. I have a few questions though.
1. How long do vehicles last? Do they go away when you log out or do you get to keep them?
2. Can I dismount at any time, and if I do what happens to the vehicle?
3. Can I fight mobs while using a vehicle? If so does my vehicle take the damage?
4. If you can leave your vehicle, will mobs attack it on its own?
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this and (hopefully) help me out. ^_^ Happy trails!

Vehicles last as long as you are logged on, or until it dies. When you get off it, it automatically dies. You cant fight mobs whilst on a horse, but mobs can still do damage to the horse. When the horse loses all its hp, it dies.
Horses and camels that traders and thieves use at lvl20+ are dismountable, but they aren't used for transport, theyre used for bringing goods and stuff.

Horse is probably the most and fastest way to travel unless you're already maxed out in lightning where you can move almost as fast as a horse. But, its a good investment since you don't waste a lot of time going to a grinding area from town.
Unless you're fighting Mangyangs, it will take you about 3-8 minutes running time to go to a grinding place/quest place from town while it will only take roughly two minutes to go to the same place using a horse. So, with that 5 minutes you just saved up, you could have made ten times as much money as how much it would cost you to buy a horse. Thus its a good investment.
