Silkroad servers split into channels?

I was checking some registry keys earlier and look what I stumbled upon:

Now there are only two explanations I can think of for such a key being created by SRO. Either A, Joymax is planning to introduce a channel system into their servers sometime in the future and this is where your preferred channel will be stored... Or B, Joymax planned a channel system but decided to scrap it and forgot to stop this key from being made.

Ah, I see now. It's kSRO's extra selection box that allows you to choose between websites you signed up for SRO under (Yahoo and some other website). I didn't think that the two installations would use the same key. Sorry for raising any alarm

But I do think that a channel system might be nice for SRO. Would certainly spread out those gold bots

Channels reduces client side lag and Ks'ing.
Bad for jobwars though.
