Of course doing this is at your own risk because you could possibly get banned since you are modifying the client application. Several people have asked me to create a tutorial for it. I can, but I won't do it.

A tut has allready been made. And it's no different than simply turning you GFX settings higher. I mean lol your not going to get an advantage out of it.

It certainly is different from turning your GFX setting higher. The Joymax developers provided us with a means to change certain settings. They didn't give us a means to change the look of our 6th degree armor. They didn't provide us a way to make our wolf look like Tiger Girl.
Depending on what you change, you could get an advantage. You could use it to more easily single out high lvl players in a guild war. You could use it to turn Tiger Girl into Roc so you can hunt her more easily.

LoL and so would turning you background draw distance. I'v seen guildwars with peopel using shitty computers and high end computers. The difference is beyond aid.

Yes, in-game graphics settings can be used to your advantage. My point was, if the developers didn't give you the option to change something, you shouldn't be able to change it.

i actually CAN use it to my advantage. my edited .pk2 files show SOS and 3rd tier of 8th degree as 9th degree. that way, i can approximate what lvl everyone is

Wallhacking is done in the same way in games like CSS
they use textures to shine thu walls to gain an advantage
