Realisticly if you need to farm any more sp then do it at 77 or less and do it at soldiers/guards, the other area with snipers and hunters is usuable at the cap but there's so many bots it's rediculous trying to even find a spot.

You can farm mages and generals but the drawback there though is they don't really drop any 8th gear or tabs, the last 8th gear is a 77 chest, so the 76-80 monsters (generals especially) are programmed to drop 78-80 gear which is 9th degree which we don't have. So all they really drop is gold, it's fine if you don't want many/any drops or tabs though. They do occasionaly drop 8th stuff but not really. You get 9th elements and XL pots once you grind snipers and above which is another 2 spaces taken from your monkey.

This is a weird cap, it doesn't really work out very well. All the no quest levels are meant to be filled in with quests from Roc Island with that area being 70-90.

It wouldn't be as annoying if the last few monsters would drop 8th gear, I can see a lot of people quitting at this cap, it's so flawed for many reasons.

I just wanna farm my last 20k or whatever and then hit 80, no point in farming monsters that don't have drops, your gold is just gonna slowly vanish and cuz of that everyone will farm snipers which are already packed.

btw is 9d weapons lvl82 or lvl84 not to sure

Yeah I'm 78 now .. feeling pretty gimped not having my 9th degree spear.

Snipers are amazing for drops IF you can find a spot that isn't taken by a whole guild of bots. Shamans and mages own like hardcore, but as you said .. no tabs. Only place left to grind at my lvl is Niya guards. Oh well >.>

if they were 76 why wernt they put into the 80 cap update ?
sure its only the 1st teir of 9D weapons but

then why did they do that with the 70 cap with the 8D weapons

Cuz you could get the whole set at the 70 cap.
The First set of 9d is complete at level 81.

Thats a really good question, I keep asking the same thing O.o

perhaps because all of the first tier 8D could be obtained by level 69, whereas 9D tier 1 cannot be obtained by 80.

then why not make the cap 81 ffs T_T like one level is gonna matter (excpet for force users who shouldve known force was useless already anyway, save for harmony therpapy for say, archers. But that doesnt keep out champs or giants. :[ )

Thats why i decided not to get force even though im making a bower >.<

farming around 70 is really good with a lot of options...

then drop back to devil eyes farming elements

im gona be smart and farm 69 and do that for ages haha come notification or hint of 90 cap il start to level

Yeah I was gonna 0 gap to 80 then finish farming, I only need another 20k or so I'll probably get it just from grinding, but if anyone needs a lot of sp you'll really regret turning those soldiers/guards blue. So farming at 77 with a -8 in full 3rd tier gear is my plan.

Snipers - Full of bots.
Mages/Generals - No drops.

Good idea on the devil eyes, even if their blue they drop tons of wind 4, just grind wind 4 and make str/int stones to sell.

Yeah that's exactly it, they have to only add what is available within the cap limit or having the power of. A 64 clean moon weapon is like 74 and a sun is like 79, which is why I knew they'd be added in this cap. If a clean sun had exceeded 80 they wouldn't have added it. You get 76 9th sun weapons which are like lvl 91 but that's cuz level 90+ doesn't exist and probably won't do. I don't believe in any silly 150 cap rumours or ideas.

lol it's gonna suck being 80 99.99% for months knowing your just 00.01% away from a full 9th set.

thats means all 3 teris of weapons and amour will be alvible

Honestly they didnt think this cap thru at all. PVP is destroyed and withoput pvp sro is a complete crapile.

how hard would it have been to make the cap 81?........

I am actually farming for tabs and elements at niya guards at the moment since mages and generals rarely drop anything.. hopefully niya guards dont turn blue on me when i hit 80

Snipers are alright for drops but if you want to farm at lvl 72 (with new weapon), niya guards is the place to farm for sp, tabs and elements (wind 4). Around x-407 y 2590 (north west of Taklamakan)

SRO thank you for dropped me a lvl 64 crit 1 blade after 3 days of farming. I bet it's the rarest item on SRO since even town shop doesn't have a crit 1 weapon.

I don't mind large pots,make the pvp more group based wich is a good thing in my opinion, what is making this cap bad is that many people have nothing to grind for but SoSun with this little problem:

A botter can grind just for drops as much as he wants a "manual player" gets bored fast,or at least i do knowing that i don't need any exp/sp nor have any way to improve my set apart from getting SoSun.

Also Sosun drop rate is by far too high,and the difference with normal items is too big in my opinion.

Not if it's 1st tier .. but seeign as it's 90 cap .. yeah it will.

But tbh seeign as my stuff is 5int . 5str all now, I won't start changing to 9th till I hit the 3rd tier.
