When faced to face against a blader, same level as you are, what do u do?

Do you run away? Tank it out? That was the problem I had last night while thieving. I did manage to tank a couple of hits but the most annoying thing is their knockdown/ stab.

What are some tips to fight against bladers? What skills are really helpful against them?


Since my build is fire/lightning...what skills are useful?

well first i advise u watch pvp more. second the skills i often see peps useing in pvp are "Ghost spear-Prince, Ghost spear-Mars, Soul spear-Truth, and Soul spear-Soul" i think those are the once.

As a blader, I can say I LOVE knockdown. However, it isn't one of the quickest skills to carry out, especially the second book. It just seems a little slower than the first. Given that, you could use a skill to slow the blader down even more, like frostbite. Not sure if there's anything in the lightening tree similar to that.

I guess you could also carry a shield in your inventory, and if the blader begins a knockdown, swap to shield and hope for a block, and swap back to your glavie.

dont know why but nuker running around a one hitting people aorund his lvl for 12k.... is kinda good at pvp...

but considering the fact you have like 2k hp total and almsot anyone can 1 -2 hit you is kinda sad. bows/pure ints both bad pvp, blader can tank, they do not do enough damage to kill you (glavie) unless zerk or really strong blade, so tell him go away

you are generalizing far, FAR too much.

Know what, if you guys think a pure int is worste pvp build, im not even going to try to prove you wrong.. because that is just so .... so very far from the truth.

ya i know... but all same lvl, with same skills levels, same amount of skills, same wep lvl, bladers wins archers and glavies, archers will loose, and glaviers will win archers but loose vs bladers

Pray he runs out of pots first? Hope for back-to-back crits with soul spear and ghost? It's a pretty long fight usually, winner depends on gear and how well farmed you are. Mostly gear. You say you're fire/lightning, I'm curious about the lightning bit. Only lightning my glaiver uses is grass walk.

Last fight with a blader was vs Atreyu, 52 vs 53, we realized it was a pot fight after like 7 mins and called it a draw, even though he had a slight edge from crit'ing all the damn time <_<

It's a pot fight....stay/fight and waste pots, knowing that you're better off moving on...or bring a friend and double him up.

53 Archer and no one my level has a chance against me. It's all about the gear and weapon. If you're on redsea and between 52-59, up to 64 if you're int.. bring it.

Bladers -- hrm either wait for the crits or ignore them lol. they're hard to kill but they also have a hard time killing a pure str their level - so just walk away =]

Run away and go find a bow/spear/sword player that's alone. Then once you kill them if they decide to stand their ground you can call them a noob, maybe some other names, act like you're all good for killing builds better for huge fights when your build focuses more on 1v1.

I don't know your lvl but i guess 80....Yea i haven't seen blader lv. 80 kill someone at lv. 80 yet. Only me I killed some sword int 80.

at lv. 80 but you have to use 8th degree wapon is worst noone could kill each other. lv. 80 Int Spear can only do 5k damage on me and how much HP do we have????? 20k!!!!1 that take forever to kill. 5k then you pot really fast it go up to 18K quickly as they nuke. Glavier are the worst.....2k damge Lawl!!!!!

Glaivers don't suck at pve... we ks hybrid ints and 2-hit orange mobs.

You get exactly what you work for, blader takes longest to level and is the best at pvp but you have the lowest dmg, int nukers are worst at pvp but level much faster and do a lot more dmg. Nukers are better for back up's, go jobbing with a blader and let them tank while the int nukes, nobody will take down the two.

I've only lost to one blader my lvl, anyone else is above me, no other blader can kill me and I can't kill them, it's the way of life and that's how it's gonn be, lol. The only way I can beat a blader otherwise is if I get constant crits going and he doesn't KD me *not going to happen on both ways* but the only way for a blader to beat me is if he has a sosun blade though, but i've never battled anyone my lvl with a blade like that, lol.

90% of bladers around are bad.

The only way a pure int same level as me could beat me in pvp is if he zerked me.

I can take one hit, which is enough time for me turn on my bloody fan. 2 skills and they are down, by which time they have usualy used there second nuke that does 1k at most.

Unless a nuker has full sosun set, they will easily be taken down by any str char.

hope for a crit on your hard hitting moves, soul spear soul, truth or something, then back it up with some quick attacks, chains, ghost spears, spirit crash or something.

keep an eye on their pot timing, if it starts going faster you;re getting closer to their doom

cuz i think you've just seen some lowbie bladers
they can only do 1 stab, obviously wont kill a 4k hp glavier, but later on at high level, blader can do 3 stabs >.>
its deadly lol

blader can't kill that that good at 80.. even a nuker with decent gear can think it at 80/90.. and blader can't ever kill a glavier!

and bowers are one of the best at lvl 80/90.. They are sukky at 70 but check their crits out at the real cap...

ROFL @ Cool. Are you sure you can back up your 2k glaiver hit @ lvl 80? Cuz ive seen plenty of glaivers fight bladers both lvl 80 on xian, and the glaivers do alot more than 2k so, either your A.) A noob who watches weak chars. or 2.) You are just bsing and never seen a lvl 80 blader vs lvl 80 glaiver. Nuff said.

Can do and can have are two different things, damn I'd celebrate if i could do 1 stab cuz of all the lag
