How do you guys decide when to move off to a new server

I'm on Greece since the first day of opening and watched a lot of old players retire/quit/move to other servers.

Recently I'm considering moving to pacific because of the new community that'll be formed there and it sounds promising.

On the other side, Greece will just continue to die as old players quit and obviously new players start on new servers, not Greece >_>. But handful of my union/guild members are still on Greece, and I really don't want to leave.

Other than persuading them to move (because I know they never will xD), what would you do in my situation? Thanks for all advices in advance

I just moved from babel and i'd have to say im liking it... babel was just too bitchy for me (god damn globals)

i moved from Babel-Olympus-Rome. Rome FTW is all i can say.

xian is doin me good too... ive only encountered a few noobs buggin me... the prices is kinda high but doable thou

Every botter in SRO is going to be racing to lvl80 on Pacific.

IMO this is going to make things rather shitty for legit players. I guess we're used to them on Red Sea by now. I don't know if it's the same on the older servers, but I bet it will be worse than Red Sea on Pacific.

If the GM's start back banning gold botters then the economy would be in better shape than the other servers. There wouldn't be many ccf weapons on Pacific since ccfing is harder now. Botters are inevitable though. You might as well don't play Silkroad if you don't want to deal with them. Besides, by the time the cap is raised again, 90% of those botters who rushed to 80 won't be playing anymore.

Heya milly, Voidsoul here. Long time no see. After I stopped playing on Greece I started on Eldorado for a while but the situation there just got me convinced that the bot situation is pretty much going to be the same wherever you go. Don't know if that was really a friend using your name/account but I saw a somebody on Eldorado using your nick and saying he/she is your friend.

Ya, I tried Eldorado and it is the worst I have played on. Lag, people and bots.

Right now I am tying another server really just playing around waiting for Pacific. Just trying to hone my build/lvl gap/grind areas etc.

Everyone that plans on jumping to Pacific please be prepared to report bots and take screen shots. Maybe we as a community can put the hurt on them.

Maybe even a Bot Killer guild or something. Where we could spread the word, do not kill the red named players from Bot_Killer Guild cause they are just running off to kill a bot or two!! That might even bring out some of the bot players, you know if they attack you anyway. Too bad a large majority of people on these severs are just plain a$$holes anyway.

Anyway I look forward to seeing alot of you on Pacific, I will be looking to join one of the many guilds seems are ready to start there.

lol looks like SuddenDeath needs to start sub guilds I see many replying to thier posts. Maybe make SuddenDeathNukers SuddendeathGlavie SuddenDeath Hybrid and union them all , you get the idea.

I was done with Greece once The_Myth fell apart and didn't feel like joining other guilds that a few members went to. Got sick of killing yetis all alone, community at that time, just all my hard work stepped all over from the number of bots easily out lvling me Already lvl 4 trade bots going back and forth ccfed weapons everywhere. Tried to ignore it all and just play but it was pointless. Hacked accounts also but this was after I left.


Greece just got destroyed.

come to pacific. or come to venice. if i like pacific i migh stay there, but for now i like venice quite alot. its a very nice server, i dont rlly geet many noobs buggin me and there are not too many botters.

i was going to buy silk this weekend to +5 my spear and renew gt and rabbit....but it seems every1 is moving from greece....so i dont think i will be buyin any silk for the moment.

venice is nothing next to tibet.. you thought Da_Tang was a big botter guild? I did too, but then I learned what a big botter guild really was here lol.

I was actually on Venice where I skrewed up my first character, you know...those hybrid lightening glaives LOL. And I was in Da_Tang for a while just because they were Chinese, then the leader asked me if I can get to level 60 in a week. I said, heck no O_O. Was much later that Milly noob found out what botting was about xD

O_O Hi void! I didn't know you were here xD That Milly is probably some reeaaaally old guildy/uniony who prolly was a Milly-wanna-be =) You know we get lots of those.

Da_Realst, the only concern about moving to Pacific...is that you have to first make sure ED and PoseI won't be moving there >_> Seeing that Pacific is goign to be a beefy server. Hate to see Greece die though.

This server on KSRO is awesome, it's just so empty you can't find a stall to buy item mall stuff from.

It's the only one always on EASY, there was 3 ppl in Hotan lol

i'll never leave xian.

OMFG if that happened in isro i would so love it , i think its because they got auction system i heard

I left Greece and moved back to Xian. The only reason why I still pop in on greece sometimes is cause of my friends.

They're all just very empty servers compared to ours, that one especially. Even on the busiest server there's only around 20 partys in the pt match at most times.

I wouldn't say its worth it. True greece is pretty screwed up but as far as i see ull run into the same problems, as in the fact its ezer to find a sos than a legit player in takla makan or the fact or that theres a bunch of botting guilds that already have a couple of lvl 80s. But as far as i see all other servers will have these same problems.

Unlike most people i have no intention of leaving greece anytime soon because i enjoy being on greece, mostly because ive met some of the nicest people i ever met on an online game that are a joy to be around every day (especially my guild) and no amount of botters can change that.
