So the cap 80 is out and that's nice... But why do people want to get there masteries up to 80, if their skills go max. up to 70

I have only one idea why they would do that, and thats because Joymax will sometimes update SRO and skills will go up to 80, am i correct?

For example, i want to start playing again and by making calculation on that skills site i just need masteries up to lvl 69 to have all skills that I need maxed.

the higher your mastery, the more damage you actully do, so a fully farmed glavier with 80 masteries will do more dmg than a fully farmed with only 70 masteries.

Because every level of a mastery adds 1% damage to it (well something similar to that)

for one you try keeping masterys at 70 and grind to 80

lvling up weapon mastery gives u more power,
and for lvling faster

increased masteries, even without skills increase damage.

Its not by alot, but every bit helps. I really just wanted to get to 77 fast to get the full set of 3rd tier 8th degree gear. Zero gapping helped.

Yeah thats what many ppl forget, they forget that they are farming, which means it takes AGES to lvl to 80
