I am a lvl 35 full str glaive and i have had fun with my character, but i still do not know which is the mest armer type for my char. I have saw a lot of high lvl glaives use garment but some also in protecter and armer. Which should i choose if i can only afford one good set of armer?

u shud wear garments if ur pure str
most ppl think its the opposite, that u shud wear armor with pure str and garments with pure int.

garments r the way to go. with a glavie you'll have much hp and having weak armor wont matter. the bonusses from the garment however DO matter , especially for a str build

do u like getting one shot killed by nukers? no? then go garmet.

its all about ballancing your build. if you are str, ur str defence is high, so you need to up the magic defence. garmet does this very well.

i like protector....


but since fly said use garment, ill use garment

What if you have a 2:1 str/int build with a glavie with fire as your main... I currently use armor.. Would garment or protector be better?

ok, i want to make a topic for that, but i can sayit there so if u can help me too, i am full int sword light/cold(i think, not sure yet) so what armor should io wear?

garment for everyone!!! yay!!

i prefer garment..since ur pure str ur sp is low..use garment will reduce the usage of sp by 20%..that helps alot..plus the magic defence on garment..also garment looks cool..especially on female..
think all my char is garments lolz..

INT Characters cant take a hit so they need the protection of ARMOR
STR characters need protection from magic, they wear GARMENT
And if youre in between, like a hybrid maybe, I guess you wear PROTECTOR....lol, I dont really know what build protector is for but that sounded good so I put it here.

Most will say garment, well, I will say PROTECTOR.
Because for INT; you don't need garment, you can kill them naked also.. lol
But for STR you should get good defense, especially for archers.. I am lv 60 archer, Strong bow crit on str in glaive = 8k dmg of like 10k max at lv 60.

Probably prot, but str hybrids suck.

if u are nuker and u have garment + fire portection series + fan storm, u'll be boss of nuker
if u are tanker and u have armor + ice guard + ironwall shield, u'll be boss of tanker
if u balance, u'll be just a normal person.

wear prot,, nukers won't get you. they were already easy to get down but now with fanning spear no way lol. also most of glavie users use garment so if u use prot u ll be able to get them too. and blader's dmg are too low to kill a glavier who wear prot. so if you use prot u ll get an advantage most of the time ( except against sosun botters/scammers ofc ) also you are low level and 9x% of mobs are phy based.

depends if you're intending to participate in any PvPs right now

most of the mobs are phy attack still, so you can still get away with wearing armor... but if you plan on PvPing then garms would probably be best

Personally I would choose prot; you already have bloodyfan just pop that and destroy them.

i used to wear garms but found it was way to hard to survive 2 glavies at once...switched to pro and its easy =P
