has SRF gone downhill over the last few days? More botters, flamebaiting and other stuff I won't name names and I'm even as guilty as some of you. Before, I'd see anti bot topics. Now, I see "come on everyone let's bot more" topics. More hack topics, everything's so negative. I can't look into a topic without now something negative or retarded being said.

Can't we just all get along?

There is definatly more botters, and I have seen some more ppl being mean because of that, like a botter posts some crap with the attitude everyone who actually plays is a loser for actually doing the work, which pisses other ppl off.

i agree. general is like hell for last few weeks. and i also agree with draquish in forum is being a mirror to games society. thats one of the reasons i quit this game everyone hates each other in game and in forums. its so stupid

I agree this forum is getting bad, maybe its because the ban hammer isnt used as much as it should in my view. Not to say that this forum never uses the ban hammer but seems it isnt used enough.

+1. Id like this forum to take a much stronger stance against botting because i think allowing people to admit botting isnt strong enough in my view.

I think, somewhat like joymax with GMs, that srf doesn't have enough mods. With only like 3 or 4 mods, there isn't someone 24/7 that can quickly lock threads or delete posts/threads or whatever.

admitting botting is one thing that harms no one except the botter him/herself but in the other hand i agree with bragging about botting and showing legit players as losers/no lifers should be punished

uh 24/7 modding would be a little hard aint it? imo mods from different timezones who could watch the forum with shifts would do better

Actually its not that hard...I'm almost on these forums from the point I start up my PC to the point I turn it of.

That's my point. There are only a few mods, they can't cover every hour of the day. THe answer is more mods.

i am sorry to say i dont agree with you in that. there has always been hacking botting and such thing in sro and they are the major issues we encounter in game so its very natural that there are threads about the topics.
and i believe if everybody can control himself we can discuss these issues without turning threads into flame wars

Topics about botters bragging about theire achievements are sickening.

The very concept of botting makes me sick.

The Spiritpower flaming has to stop.

The botting love has to stop.

The members should stop treating each other as dirt.

If someone quoted you,it does not mean you must have the urge to PWN that member.

If asked a normal question,it should be answered normally.

When it's said: DO NOT POST IN PORN SPAM LINKED TOPICS,DO NOT GO AND POST IN THEM.

People joining from the tavern that spam the crap out of everything should plain simply be KICKED OUT.

I believe this forum still owns in every sense of the word,and i still believe the members here are indeed some of the best people i experienced on ANY forum.

And if there are still mods beeing needed,i would be more then happy to apply to help to bring the good old days back.

Because this is something i'm willing to fight for.

And there's not 1 person who can change that.

Yea perhaps but you now not always we can get alone whitout flames and I realy now this .But i hope not always be flames about evrything .and we can have brake/control from all flames sometime and have control over it , (P.s Me ..I try But if someone steep on my toe i cant promise i dont give back.) Great, seems this topic is getting dragged down also. Grimjaw made a buncha good points that i agree with, especially when people bump those "OMFG WOW PORN LINK HERE" threads and the bot loving.

A new mod or 2 wouldnt hurt either cuz im sure theres good people on this forum that could help improve the situation and are willing to help.

Cut Logical_1, FFGIRL(although she was nice), and Kabi.

Add mods for OTL, Guilds & Clans, Q&A, Marketplace, Site Discussion, Technical Help, And Artist's Corner(This one I, and probrably Miyoko, 0l3n, and Rocksmo will be willing to take the job.)

I believe that is more than enough mods to keep this place sparkling clean.
