I've been lurking here for a little while, so I thought I'd make it official and register!

I've played SRO for almost a year now, but have never really bothered to play 'seriously' until recently. As a result, I've just got my first lvl20+ character and he's doing ok.

Completed my first 1* trade run last night, which was a (limited) success (made it from Donwhang to Jangan ok, but spent more on pots than made in profit >_<). Now I'm outside Donwhang grinding Meek Earth Ghosts while doing a lil' farming.

Well, that's post #1 made. Now just got to sit here and wait for the replies...

let me be the first to welcome you to the SRF. i hope you have a nice
and plesent stay here and that you enjoy your time.

Also well dont on the lv20 and your first trade, likewise am about to have
my first ever pure STR lv42...i got 3 other characters, but were either INT
or Hybrid.

@Satman TY for the welcome. My main char is pure STR atm and it's an enjoyable build indeed. I'm currently grinding mobs 4-5 lvls above me and cpoing pretty well (unless I get surrounded =S).

@pingpongboss Thanks! Believe me it was pure luck all the way, lol.

Got mobbed by a fair few Chakjis and Tigers on the way which weren't too much trouble. Didn't realise you could get off your horse though! [/noob]

Only major trouble I had was when some lousy noob decided to start attcking me without a job suit. She'd hit me with Lion Shout, go pink, then wait and hit me again. I'd already run out of pots at that point, so I was just hoping I'd make it (remember I didn't know I could dismount and retaliate). Anyway, just when I was down to about 30% health a level 4x ran by, saw what was happening, and killed her in one attack. LOL.

Will try again soon, this time remembering to defend myself!

BTW, can anyone confirm whether it's still possible for thieves to pop you on a 1*? Had a 5x thief in front of me for some time last night and nothing happened.

Lol...Its very easy to 1* pop....Npc thiefs always run to the lowest lvl char and if that dont work....Wait till you spawn a light bow and splash them to death......

Trading at 20 = suicide.....

welcome to SRF, wear kevlar, a flame retardent jumpsuit and a can of spray mace, you'll need it with some of the people here ;P

i remember when Dem was 20, did a trade run.... 3 actually. we didnt pot the transports, we weaved the monsters. funt times.

I dont play seriously either, Im only level 26.

Trade runs are easy when I do them at 2x because there usually aren't any player thieves (methinks because of time diffirence?). Im hoping to get to trading lvl 3 soon =]

Don't worry, SuicideGrl, I've already read the rules (similar to most forums with SRO specifics tacked on), and I don't plan on starting any flame wars.

well it was almost the same for me, playing SRO since last february but started playing for real on christmas. reached 52 already since then without gold ticket
