How i think protectors could be more useful
Hi all hope you are all well :p
I did a quick search on the forums and couldnt find exactly what i wanted so.....
Over the past couple weeks myself and my guild have made an effort to rip as many protectors on bots as possible and kinda have a little competition going. I think protectors are great, and nothing is more funny than seeing a bot nuke one.
Anyway, why isn't a three strikes and ban policy with protectors? A guild mate and i got one bot ('laman' btw on Athens[to name but one]) 7 times in one day. Im not sure i enjoy the 1 hour recharge time too, i did read about the d/c and login but im def not doing that at prime time (see 4pm - 9pm GMT weeknights)
Also one other thing, i also could not find this on the forums (btw this is my lunch hour so im pressed for time too ^^)....
I'd like to see a pin code option on storage boxes, also for guild storage boxes too. Im not too worried about the chance of my account getting hacked but i am about fellow guild mates, i dont deposit important items in guild storage for the same reason. I'd like to have a pin code on my storage box, not compulsory for every player but its a good security measure. And nothing that types in via the keyboard either, maybe drop down boxes or a keypad on the screen to click numbers with your mouse.
Obviousley i may have missed some finer details out but i think the basic idea is together and understandable.

They should remove the time limit.
this way you can got to a spot, clear it from gold bots grind untill they come back and repeat
Man that would be great...
Anyways i wonder why the protectors are implemented, kinda useless.

i kill at least 5 to 7 newbies a day with them...hahahah i know itswrong
but hey, they have to learn about it someday!!
either way i say that protectors to their job. problem is Bots have become
more advanced since we first saw them. where as the protectors havent
maybe if the protcetors themselves went after the bots??

I think the system should work like this -
1. User A casts the protector.
2. If any other user attacks it
a. A strike is added to that user.
b. User A does not have a time delay on cast now
3. If any other user does not attack it
a. User A has time delay to cast again
4. If any user gets 3 strikes per any 24 hours, BAN for so many hours/days, but log these offenses.
5. If any user accumulates too many offenses per week/month, THEN permanent ban.

whichever bot i can bring down with a protector is good enough to satisfy me, but rather than different levels of offending i still think that if a bot attacks a protector 3 times then it should be full account ban. its pretty obvious to the system what is going on if a player (bot) gets taken out by a protector 3 times.
i think its rediculous that we got the same bot 7 times and nothing flags up on the system, i still see this bot!! (we've found a bot outside Hotan that has provided some amusement with protectors)
i see no one has commented on the storage box pin code suggestion?? im concerned i didnt get my point across properly and i typed a load of nonsense ^^

+1 but the user should be over lvl 20
+ everytime you attack it, you get dc'd and when you try to logg on there is a one day ban - cause = possible bot, 1 out of 3 times.
good?

Ive heard lots of people say this but have you ever tried it? Ive never managed to hit a protector with splash damage or light nukes.
its not true, ive spawned em in the middle of cape wars and nothing happens from aoe nukes or light imbue/nuke
