Someone said he's going to hack me

Today I was levelling at the Bandits when there was this guy who was spamming something about buying his bots for money or something. I messaged him saying, "Shut up and stop scamming people," but all he did was laugh and say that I was now on his 'hacking list.'

Should I be afraid? I mean with GameGuard gone and all that. Even though I'm only a level-13 player I still like my account very much and don't want to see it get hacked. Is there any advice on what to do? Or is he just trying to scare me and I shouldn't worry?

My server is Oasis and the person in question is _Jakir_ (The spelling might be wrong but it's something like that)

Please help a newbie out! Thanks!

dont give your id and pw to anyone
dont make exchanges to anyone (buy and sell via stall only)
dont get into random partys when someone invites u, when u get party invite dont accept

change ur pw to smth like iud3o34mdnd lol ^^

"Most" people who say things like that are bluffing.
Why would some high class "hacker" (if they are using that terminology to refer to themselfs then they are most definitly not capable of breaking into JoyMax's server) break into JoyMax just to stuff up someones account.
Total waste of time.

Read the guide, and you should be safe.

well,
u can join party by yourself, on party match, BUT when someone random invite you in his party, yes u can be hacked
through exhanges too,
i turned my party invites and exchange invites off in options -> gameplay ^^

so... u can play in party just dont accept party invites, and dont accept exchange invites

well,

Hi you should not be afraid from that person that is threating you.
My account is on Greece, and from a few days ago, I was been threating from a char (DarkMee) just because I killed his creature. (no ks) and he didn't say no ks to me. Anyway, he can't hack your account, and if he will try that he is bored.

I have written with many people about the same thing, and many said to me that I should just ignore that person. But if he is threating you agian then post a screenshot and send it here. So people can be ware about that person.

It is stupid to hack others accounts.
People er bored and nerds when they do that.
I can't see WHY people think that hacking is fun.
Soon or latter all of you hackers out there you will pay for all the things you have done.

And one thing that really pisses me off, is when hackers is hacking people accounts in sro, just because they CAN'T get any gold or good weapons. CHEATERS! All of you hackers are losers (VERY BIG LOSERS)

Anyway, if there is a hacker there is reading this, I meen every word I say. ONE DAY YOU ARE GONNA PAY.!

according to my survey ; people that going around telling people "i am gonna h4x u with my 1337 h4x0r skills" are actually chimpanzees that cant even login to your char even if you give them your id and pw :=) no worries

1. You can't be hacked through exchanges.
2. You can't be hacked through parties.
3. You can't be hacked through messaging people.
4. Use common sense.

There is no packet exchange between players. You send it to the server, the server sends it to that guy. Parties, exchanges, messages, etc arent dangerous. Ppl go a bit overboard.

Just have a sensible PW and email, change that PW every so often to a new one and you are as safe as you can be. If a real hacker wants what you got, there isnt anything you can do to stop them and they wont tell you first. The suggested measures above WILL save you from script kiddies and social hackers.
