So here is my story:

I was PVPing last night celebrating my new lvl gain, when all of the sudden, I got that "Disconnected due to network insecurity" error. (I pressed too many buttons too fast apparently.):roll: When I clicked OK, then I got the regular disconnected error.
*NOTE: I was lagging pretty badly while I was PVPing too.

Now whenever I try to log on, it tells me that I am already connected, and to wait 5 minutes. I changed my password 3 times now. I even tried entering the wrong one to block out my account for 10 minutes.

I still can't log back in due to it saying that my character is already logged on. This is the only character that I will attempt to make, so if it is gone for sure, I guess this is goodbye.

wait for like a hour. but if its still in then wait for an inspection or update when they shut down the servers.

Wait awhile, if nothing works, try to reinstall your SRO client?

It has been roughly 20 hours since it happened, and I just barely tried.

I have the game installed on my two computers, and neither will let me log onto the account. I can log onto others though.

That's really weird then,but i never had anything like that though.

Maybe it is SROs way of telling me that I have been slacking off on my Econ and Accounting homework.

The re-installation didn't help. So I guess I will have to wait till next inspection.

Well, you would think that they could just take my shit and leave in 20 hours. Unless they are stalling it from my character. LOL

PS. If you are reading this and did hack an account lately, please back out of it so that I can at least log on and get the peace of mind. I will log right back off and let you do your dirty work. I just want to know what happened. I hate not knowing something.

That is correct. I created another account as a test, and I can successfully log on via that account.

So I can only say you ...i wrote the answer before sry.
But change again the password .and if you have luck so perhaps you can take back the accound when this accound not is connected to game anymore

that is really weird... well like they said above i guess you wil have to wait till the next inspection when all characters are disconnected from the servers.

try PMing your char using your test account..

Ways to fix it:

Wait for server inspection - To be 100% sure that this will work login with a noob char and try to PM your real account. If you can PM yourself that means the account is still logged into the server because of a bug and on server inspection it will get DCed.

I already tried. I am not registered as online. I had guildmates look where I was last at before the DCd.

My guildmates have not seen me log in. They all show that I am logged out.

My vote is on some crazy bug in the system. (I did get 2 forms of disconnect at the same time, and that mixed with lag, I am surprised that I didn't tear a hole in the fabric of the SRO time continuum.....wait, maybe I did )

Oh well, I have a big test to study for. I guess this temptation is gone for now.

I will let you guys know how it goes next server inspection.

i get that "network insecurity" shit once in a while too, wireless internet is so shit.

but never had a problem with getting back in Oo

waiting for inspection is almost guaranteed faster than trying to get help from the admins... lol.

i can just go to my friends account then, and enter a few wrong pass and wala hes banned? LOL

Agreed.

However, I have already gone this route as well. I have submitted a report with all the necessary information.

If anybody else has any suggestions. They are welcome.

there are places in the SRO maps that once your there, you are not allowed to log in. its a bug, a guildmate of ours is trapped there. so wait maybe JM will move your account ;\

same with winternights, hes been stuck at the same place behind ch'in tombs for ages, sent mutiple bug reports, atleast once per day for the last month or so, and its still not fixed
