WHY ARE PEOPLE ASKING ME TO UPGRADE MY WEP to +7 without trading.. everywhere i go...

well wait wait.. isnt it a scam if i hand em my sos wep.. but they're saying i dont even have to hand over a weap.. all i'd have to do is stand there and they'll upgrade it while its IM equiping it

well yea. in the past 3 days.. ive had about 5 people DIFFERENT people.. PMing me asking me if i would like to make my wep +7.. and of course i'd reply back and say screw urself scammer.. and then they'd say no no.. just come here ill do it for free you dont even have to trade.. of course i'd be tempted but im not dumb.. so i just left.. i was just curious if any of you had the same happen and if its true..

THey will probably just make you join an item shade party. Make you drop it on the floor, and when you pick it back up, they will get it.

I don't understand this recent surge in "scamming". I mean this has alwasy gone on but I wonder what "triggered" the wide scale problem now.
