I know there has been a post bfore mine covering this topic, and I would have replied to it, but I lost the place where I found it...

Anyway, simple question...

Is the weapon in the picture included a +5 or a SOX weapon?

Because... I want...

SOS.

Could possibly be SOS+1/2/3/4 but its hard to tell.

It looks like Sosun to me. Maybe +3 too? Definitely not +5 or above, though.

I reckon its a +3.

SoSun and possibly +3/+4. Not sure.

Its a seal of star...
if it was seal of sun than the spark at the top would have
more of a halo effect

i agree, SoS. the SoSun glow's tip is ridiculously bright, and nearly all the time... it'd be extremely hard to miss it w/ a SS.

Seal of Sun has a small ribbon going around it. Like SoM but it also has the haze. No ribbon. No SoSun.

Although there seems to be some confusion, there seems to be definitly no confusion that it is ATLEAST a SOX of some type (With a few +'s possibly).

I am asking this because I am/wanting to soon make a +3 or even (depending if the weapon loves me as I love it) a +5.
But I do not know what the different +'s look like. I know that +3 has a semi-pathetic glow on it and thats all.

If someone can post a complete range of all the pluses possible +0 -> +7,8 or 9.

+5/6= Pink
+7/8= Orange
+9/10= Blue
+11/12= Green/blue fade

If you are as low level as you sound and you have a +3 weapon, be smart and DO NOT waste gold trying to +5 that weapon.

Especially not without an astral once you hit +4

Looking at the picture i see that its a Seal of Star.
But, there is no ripple/shimmer on saying +3 or anything.
So I'm just saying it looks either +0 to +2

Yeah I agree with Mauler it looks like a SOS+0,1,2. Anyways IMO if your <40 you shouldn't waste weapon elixirs trying to plus your item(unless your farming) because usually the elixir is worth more than the actual weapon especially with the prices now and you would just be better off buying one already +ed.

Look at some ksro screens of +11 shields/weapons. IT does exist, and it is green.

thats Star, maximum of +2 (no glow on the entire weapon)

i've sat next to and watched a +9 it gos blue to a greny in transition just liek +7 does orange/red

there is NOTHING for +11

If it is +2 or under, than my gosh. Why is the glow brighter and more pink than on my +2 Lvl 52 sos bow?

Btw, the one in my sig is a +4 lvl 42 SOS Bow.

(And yes, I am a "low level", otherwise I wouldn't be asking )

Anyway, so I should only start doing the entire thing with elixers at a higher level (or just buying them)?
