Is it Worth it to Get the Castle Shield Series?

so yes finally JM decided to make the castle shield technique the more user friendly,

now it is the ultimate question, is it worth it?

It is worth it for that 15 seconds of increase defence?
the last book seems pretty attractive though, because with a 408 increase in physical defence in 15 seconds.
But is it useful in PvP? or PvE?

BIcheon people please give some comments, others are welcome as well, tell us what you think

its worth it..you can take some major damage for less

i hope you know that castle shield has been like that for a long time now, all they did in the last update was change the animation. :wink:

last 15 second... recharge in 45 second.... you got 3 book.... you can cycle them forever ^^

Another person pretending they know :roll:

Castle shield/fan storms are probably the best skills one can invest in.
The extra defence they give is huge, can get you out of a some very sticky situation.

u mean that shield that prevents status effects? the firewall3 castle? the fire mag def buff? am i missing something from the update?

and can u use the fan storm with the castle 15sec thing together?

bloody fan is really effective against mercs, since everyong tend to go for the nuker mercs. use that skill i been able to tank 12 mercs long enough to kill their summoner and escape

when fan storm is recharging, does castle shield recharge too?

and when fan storm is activated with spear, can u change weapon to shield/blade? or vice versa?

Because of ironwall shield i couldnt beat a lvl 58 blader :shock:

the damage he took was so minor

A:Yes. But how often do u get killed by monsters? When u lag. Can u activate the skill while lagging? No.

Archers have ice wall and fire wall.
The only bad thing is they can't move but they have range to compensate it.

Well, walls... hard to use, and u need both for protection. Plus, nukers have walls, and the castle shield or fan storm. There's no skill in pacheon that provides extra defense. Thus, it is unfair to archers.

It only last 15 seconds, maximum. You're not going to kill anyone in 15 seconds. It might save you a few HP pots.

a full int s/s with werk, while using that skill, can send 5 ppl same lvl into hell int 5s :twisted:

can u? can u chain fan with shield? or the are disable? like fan book lvl 2/shield book lvl 2 +% block? can u stack them?

i tried experimenting

i tried spear spin then use castle shield with a shield.
they stack,
but it does not the other way... meaning when u turned on castle, and hold the spear, it cancels
