Sro freezing

ok I have some problem with my sro -.- it just freeze in a middle of a fight, can't alt-tab or w/e I need to reboot the whole comp :( anyone have an idea why it happen? my grphic are set to the minimum, i'v scanned my comp 5 time with Super ad Blocker and spybot... it wasn't doing this ebfore and I dont know why it happen now :s maybe cause there is not as much space as before on the harddisk?

Try defragmenting your hard drive and running the disk clean-up.. Will speed up your pc and make room for other stuff.

so you think it's a problem from joymax? that's pissing me -.- can't grind at all I crash every 10 minute -.-

where is the disk clean-up? and the defrag too can't find it :S

lol...

Defrag - Start > all programs > accessories > system tools > disk defragmenter

Sometimes if you havnt done it before/for a while it can take several hours.. But it helps so be patient.

Disk clean up - My computer > Right click on your hard drive > properties > disk clean up

well the defrag give me this error when I open it

DEFRAG [/Q] [/s] {files}

anyone know what is wrong?

Nvm I was running it form search -.- found the 2 spplication I ,m trying it now

Do you have SP2 (Service pack 2) my SRO kept crashing and i installed SP2 and it was fine after that.

I'm running the defrag now wow it'll take month lol i haven't used it for like 2 years <.<

if it was conenction, the whole compt wouldn't freeze :S I will just get a dc :(

Is yours graphic card ..I have friends who have the same problems, like you have now..And the buy new one and now is ok for them.

yea it's graphic card... i'have asked my firend about it he toldme it was overheating... the problem was that my graphic card fan was full of dirt :S i've cleaned it but now the fan wont work and the card go really hot (it burn^^) so i've removed it and change it for an old one but i don't know if it will work with sro... I hope...


it's a radeon VE or something like this

This used to happen to me when i would turn on water reflections
but i haven't tried it in a while.

Hate to say this, but my PC also freezes every once in a while. I thought it was my own problem. But after seeing all these posts.........

Anyone knows a good freeware defragment tool ? This one coming from windows isn't good. It doesn't defrag everything.

Lately I've been havinga lot of freeze up when I teleport or do stuff in town, I end up having to ctrl-alt-delete and end sro :banghead:

yea if sro freeze it's something like defrag or conenction... my whole comp was freezing when I was playing cause of overheating on the gfx card :(... fan was dirty , tryied to cleaned it but the fan doesn't run anymore :S


anyone know how to restart a graphic card fan? I don't feel like going to the shop to change it -.- i'll end with like 2 ram tablet and a new hard disk lol...
