I got scammed once long time ago and ever since i have been carefull not to get scammed again. Still, today, just now i got scammed of 3.6mill,

This dude had a stall up with a lvl 16 sos bow and price was 3.6mill, i check the bow and is indeed sos lvl 16. i buy it and see in my inventory a lvl 18 normal bow!

Im like WTF!!! this game sucks right now, if you people want security Farking add security in the game and how the game is played. How can you change your stall item when a player is ready to buy it.

Its ok tho, im sure those 3.6mill he scammed from me wont do him any good. its only gold. gl to the noob, It just pisses me off because i buy silk to get a pet to collect my shit and the noobs try to rob you off your money and indirectly thats what they do.

I pitty those kids. 3.6mill isnt that much, i really dont give a shit, but i do give a shit about the attitude that some people have, of course he logged off.

It's a simple trick really, you lost your guard.
First, he sets up a stall with a REAL sos bow and the amount price he mentioned. You check it and confirm it's SOS.
he closes his stall and set it back up again and put the same type of weapon, but it's not sos this time. You did not check back and buy it. Bad luck...

Sorry it happened to you again. I don't see how a normal bow could have ended up in your invetory, guess it's another technique of scamming.

I know it sucks, but it you like the game, play it. Don't quit because of those lame ass losers, they aren't worth it.

Check before you buy.
When he opens the stall , check the item again.
Before you drag it to your iventory to buy it, check it again.
Don't forget to check the price.
Don't trade sos with exchange, only stalls.
And don't forget to check often.
Buying from afk stall is a better idea.

If he replaced it with an ordinary iron bow, he will have to take the item off the stall and put in another one. And you will see that he took it out of the stall then put a similar one again...but in your case, it seemed like he never replaced the item, coz it was still there-- just there when he opened stall...omg scary...O.O

Luckily i have never been scammed. Even when i was a total noob i always checked before i bought / sold something.
I always double or even triple check before i buy. The bad think about that is that i lost some good deals cause somebody bought it the moment the stall opend.

But hey I rather lose 200k in profit than begin scammed for 1mil.

It sux that you got scammed though. And 3.6mil IS alot of money (at least for me T_T).

Too much silk road causes hangovers and hallucinations, theres no possible way the guy could have switched the gear, same thing as when someone says he was scammed when exchanging someone and the person switched the gears fast so he couldn't see... It's the human factor, the game has nothing to do with it, the people maybe wanted to scam u but it's your stupidity that got u scammed

So i played dumb and did as he said lol he invited me to his party, told me to wait till he runs away and then drop my weapon and pick it up.
I threw a lvl 1 sword on the ground and when i picked it up it was distributed to him O_o
