You dont have to read the entire post it says it all in the first one.
Maybe Joymax is working hard. I bet nobody on this forum has ever been a gm. I cant help but feel pity for them :(

If only they had let us known what they are doing before. They hardly ever kept us to date with what they are doing. They shouldn't have to, but when they see hundreds of users complaining, that means make more public notices on progress so we would shut the heck up.

Like today, for example. Im supposed to be devoting my time to researching alternative bulletin board solutions, coming up with ways to prevent CCF

umm why would ppl ccf anymore? except globals i guess

The very very few GMs that we have in Korea also carry this burden. The head of iSRO sometimes doesnt go home for weeks at a time. Hes been dumped by multiple girls in the past for not being able to spend any time with them as he is stuck at work.

this made me lol

i felt bad for GMs and other people work for giving us a better game.. i know Sro isnt in a great shape but just remeber back a few months and compare today you cant deny the improvement.. i believe they are working hard.. and i beliee that more then half of complains are bullshit.. people are buying gold then make a thread at forums how they cant login and how it lags.. they google free bots and whine at forums when they get hacked...they bot 7/24 and then talk crap "sro is shit i quit to play wow blabla"

The problem is they're trying to tackle too many problems at once, they're (supposedly) trying to get rid of bots, ccf, lag, etc... But obviously they don't ahve the resources to do so... they need to do one at a time.
They want recogintion and respect, how about actually getting something done, or giving us feedback, or even making it seem like they care (maybe they care, but if they don't show it we can't tell), or at the very least tell us what's going on.

I never visit those forums but as it said [Sparta]MorningDew I got kinda suspicious.. all tho I think i'm wrong.

Any who I don't believe it, hes a professional who should know who to plan his workload. If he has problems he obviously is doing something wrong, if indeed this guy is from the San Jose office, i truly respect his work input but we need to see in game changes, not some dumb ass update to a lousy forum which only to be honest the lower levels go to.

I might sound as if I'm being an ass .. actually I am being quite the ass but the massive post he made ain't gonna get any compassion from me. Hes a professional, joymax has a lot of money to hire ... Need I say more.

Honestly, I can say they are working hard. I know they want to prevent CCF and fixing this and that on the website. But to fix something on the website is really pointless, I'm pretty sure most users don't care about the website. I look at it every so often but if they are fixing things like making it look better, when they could have banned another 10 botters. I think the GM's are investing their time into things they really don't need. It kinda seems that they don't feel like changing the game coding at all. Maybe they could invest their time into figuring out another way to stop botting for instance, Make a pop-up box that comes up every 30 minutes that asks a simple question and you have to answer it or else you get a black mark on your account. After 3 Black marks, you get a GM visit. How hard would that be?

All in all, I think GM should spend more time working with the community rather than working for them selfs.

i.e. Finding alternative ways to buy silk.

they did a great job with the astral lvl limit, so i know there doing something atleast. it took them long enough though wish i came out be4 takla oh well.

but complaining bout it on the forums (if its really a gm) isnt gonna change how we feel bout the problems

Morningdew is a She. Her name is Many min, I think.

And she not a GM, She is a forum mod and leader for US headquarter of Joymax, still she is under Korean leadership.

As far as I know. What I said is totally correct. Defenatly the part about Morningdew being a female. I know cause she gets really frustrated when someone calls her "him".

so, how long until it goes to p2p? I mean it would give them more money to hire more GM's and stuff like that...or are they making enough money on silk alone?

games that contain methods like item mall usually make enough.
making it p2p would change alot and is risky but i wouldnt mind if it did unless it contained better service overall.

She's not a GM. morningdew is some kind of bug-tester-office-worker-paper-pusher hybrid. (Sparta)morningdew is the real morningdew. The reason that she doesn't have an admin tag is because of the new forum on sro.net. That's the reason everyone has a very low post count and so do the topics.
There is in fact another morningdew acct on the forums, but i can't remember the server. But I do remember seeing the admin tag under (Sparta)morningdew before they killed the official forums.

The Morningdew account is shared by other employees. I can't remember the link to when he/she said posted that.

its obvious JM has been working their asses off. i started a little over a year ago and now DCs happen very rarely, (cept on the login) lag isnt as frequent, and overall gameplay is much better.

^Please stop using age as a sign of immaturity. I'm 21 so it doesn't really concern me now, but I know how it was to be 16 and being called immature just because of my age which can sometimes be totally irrelevant.

They shouldn't complain to use they should be complaining to Joymax in korea. It's a job not a prison so if its causing them real problems they can quit anytime. What Joymax doesn't understand is that if the community doesn't see any of this so called progress then we're not going to think anything is happening at all.

Planning his workload has nothing to do with it. Wanna know why?

World of Warcraft has over 7 million players world-wide last I heard. Do you know how many offices and staff members the Blizzard company has? If you put the entire Joymax staff next to only half of the Blizzard staff, you would either cry or laugh because of how small the Joymax staff is. And that's INCLUDING the U.S. office. They are completely understaffed for the size of workload they have. It has NOTHING to do with planning.

Read his post again, notice anything wrong? The schedule he's running has tasks of at least 4 different people. That's how it is with ALL of the Joymax employees. But guess what? The more time Joymax devotes to hiring new people, more things go wrong in game & on the website, and then more people complain. Working for a gaming company is really serious business... especially one that small.

Joymax really needs a new workforce program if they don't already have one. Because they cannot do the hiring by themselves.

Is it her fault for JM not hiring more?

I think her point with the post was directed toward the fact that alot of people claim she does nothing, or that she's fake. I mean look at all of the references to how hard SHE works. She doesn't mention the other employees much at all.

What basis do we have to complain as heavily as we do? We don't pay a subscription. We didn't buy the software.

THEY ARE PROVIDING SERVICE TO US. WE DON'T PAY FOR IT. QUIT DEMANDING THINGS YOU DON'T DESERVE AND DON'T HAVE COMING TO YOU.
