Seems like the botters are back in full force.. not the ones who play on gt time, but the gold farming bots that play 24/7.. how can I conclude this? Cuz after the bot ban, it was never hard to get in.. now it's incredibly hard to get in the server yet again.. and my lower lvl friends are telling me they see the gold farming bots back in full force.. good stuff... gg joymax, your plan worked for about 2 weeks..

Uh i thought the servers werent crowded because there was an earthquake somewhere and then internet was all screwed up...which resulted in like a lot of less players? then its crowded again because they fixed it?

i dont know im just speculating

Hmm that could be a possibility.. but after that first bot ban, it was 20x easier to get in the server whenever.. then after the 2nd, 3rd and 4th.. i never had a prob gettin in the server or anything like that.. and since the bots have slowly crept back.. it's been increasingly hard to get back in, now it's to the point of not being able to

The new bots are even worse
The old ones had a glavie to run around with and werent using any skills.
Now they made archers that KS you from every direction AND using skills.
Highest archers i'v seen so far were 3x.
Joymax ftl.

The gold prices are doubled now wahahaha.
But still JM ftl.

They still had enough money to sell. but they made use of this ban and increased the price.

Joymax made them earn more money.

Well they are back for sure, I was grinding for fun at Deamon Horses outside DW. It seems like the bots are at that level right now, working their way up. Just had to kill one

From what I heard, the cables have yet to be fixed.

Not necessarily, less people will buy now.
If JM keep banning bots they will eventually give up.
Aint gonna happen anytime soon.

I know its a stupid question but what are GOLD BOTS iam so shy i know bots ofcourse but do gold bots just gain money only

Gold bots are used to collect gold only.
Then the owners of those bots exchange the gold for real money.

Those are the botters who have full armor and a glavie. They do not use any skills or potions. They just hit the monsters, who are about 4-7 levels lower than them, so they give good drops.

Yes i find all bots stupid, What JM should do is tell
E-bay or w/e to try close the auctions that are giving
away SRO gold/items/characters/silk and give the auction
starters a warning, Also find the websites such as
"thepoerlevel" or w/e and try get them shut down they could
possibly be the reason with why there are gold botters
back.

Well I guess what i said is a possibilty but im not saying
its gonna be successful.

yea the gold farmers are already farming on dw soon they will be back to bunwangs then penons.
venice is crowded again, the ban was nice while it lasted.

they need a better way to deal with bots, banning them every week will probaly make the companies loose money and slow them down. but jm doesnt have time for that.

Joymax should not ban bots they should ban money buyers.
It is a useless fight if you don't solve the REAL problem.
they will come back no matter how big the ban list was the only thing they lose is the profit (need to start a new bot again to earn more money on higher level)

I really hope Joymax will start banning these people instead of the bots..

no one buying gold the higher the price the less bots and in the end no bots at all.

Or maybe if its possible that joymax could somehow add a command
line or something so that when it detects Nprotect closed or w/e
or if there is a diffurent files in the directory that everytime
something along the lines of SRO.exe or SROBot.exe ro w/e
open then this hidden file will just auto close the program
or make it so that you cant add another file in the directory
or w/e GOD DAM I HAVE NO IDEA WTF IM TRYING TO SAY

farm gold, transfer it to diff account.
give to gold buyer, gold buyer buys from stall
and so on.

ban innocent ppl and thats not a good thing.

this happen with the gold duping, if u remember what happen.

Jagex, the owners or Runescape do that. Ebay is supposed to close out and report all Ebay auctions concerning Runescape.

at least it will make it a bit harder you can never but never stop gold farmers as long as you don't stop gold buyers. (check for example wow)

and yeah i rather have or be self banned by accident due to this rule than having so many gold farmers. and they banned people who got gold from those dupers, something that really was obvious but still some people are greedy and fall for it.

"I am talking to you!" Then I decided to summon a Protector. (since I had one in my pocket) He attacked it, and dropped 22 return scrolls! He kept on coming back, so I would summon protectors, and he would sometimes drop something. Before I went to bed, I reported him. Next day, he was still there. Around 9pm, he disappeared. Now I don't have to worry about him KSing me. (But I still have to worry about someone taking my spot >.>)

It depends on how well you programmed your macro. A good programmer can likely bot his whole SRO career and never get caught. He can program the char to say something every 2 mins, for instance. Or after 2 mins talk, then after 30 secs talk, then after 5 mins talk, etc etc.

Many ways to throw people off.

The macro's most use are the one's that use the 'bot cards' I think. They aren't very professional macro's.

ooh yeah they still attack them. a little while back i was killing scorpains the flowers ect. this archer kept ksing me over and over and over and over ect. soooooooooooo i had a protector with me and i let it go. he attacked it a long with 4OTHER BOTTERS i was laughing so hard i wish i rembered to ss it.

wth is the point of banning gold farmers if ur gonna get banned urself?
get to lvl 60+ and then get banned cuz it was a mistake, and ur not gonna complain. bullshit...

Alps is the place for that kind of bots.
