Alright so I figured out how to change my password for SRO after doing a few searches. I did this because some of the recent safety concerns the SRO admins have been having (my password was both easy to guess and not recently changed). So I decided to change it by clicking on "forget your ID or password?" on their Web site (I used IE of course). So I was able to change password. All is good and dandy. I was able to login to their Web site with my new password. Still good.

The problem is when I try to login to the actual game. It says I cannot login and to check my ID and password. I've tried dozens of time and made sure I spelled everything correctly and made sure CAPS LOCK wasn't on. I tried to login at their Web site with the same username and password, and it still works there. But it still remains that I cannot login to the game. Has anyone else had this problem or know what I can do?? Thanks.

you may have to wait an hour for it to catch up to there servers

ps make sure u didnt have caps lock on when u were typing in new PW

Maybe it takes time for them to update the game servers..

Meh, well it's already been about 18-20 hours. I sent a report (without my username or password), but it's my understanding they typically won't respond to those.

Well Karlos Vandango, I took your advice and changed my password again. Reason being is that when I changed my password for another character I had, it worked right away and I could login to the game. So I changed my password again for the character that wasn't working, and now it works. I'm not sure why my other password didn't work. Perhaps it was too long (9 letters and 4 numbers)?

edit: Rofl, i figured out what the problem was. The max amount of characters you can use is 12. When you type in the password at the Web site, it restricts you to putting in 12 characters. On the game, however, you can type more than 12. Meh, that's gay.
