Silkroad Online Forums

There are some reasons to think the gm's of silkroad are watching the forums... Im too tired to digg up the threads but there are some "signs" like there has been talk about how too stop ccf'ers by changing the way astrals work, - the astral changes just like the way it was talked about here on the forums, and there is more suggesting that they are watching... So do you think they are?

Of course. GM Crayon has mention several memes during the weekly server inspection notices that came from this forum. Last week it was the Mother Crayon thing posted by Lemon. And a few weeks before it was the C8 censor post by Skai (it's in the sticky thread).

There is solid proof some of them used to read the forum.

But if you honestly thought they read the threads on the forum, don't you think certain things would have been changed, or people would have been 'attended' to?

they are reading the forums, at least chuchulain said so when he asked gargamel during GNGWC
as for the stone purchase restriction, it was the first idea to counter CCF and was brought to JM ages ago by Silk assistants and others...but meeeh ..took them long enough

I guess it could be possible that crayon takes some information from this forum and puts it to good use,that means there's something more to this forum then you would first expect.

Maybe some people didn't get banned just yet,because of lack of proof,or perhaps they buy a massive amount of silk each month,or they are giving joymax a slice of the cake..maybe joymax is in on the gold bots,which would justify the mass banning of bots,and why the gold bots are mostly left alone.

You never know what's going on in the minds of the GM's.

While i'm not very sure about who it could be,here are a few tips:

Just for fun though:

I would look for someone with a small post count.
I would look for someone,who tends to keep to himself.
I would look for someone,that hangs out in particulair places on the forum,and ask particulair questions.

But i think it's kind of exiting that GM's actually come here.
I guess we better keep the good idea's coming then right?

Maybe now were beeing noticed.

At one time they may have read a thread or 2, but now with all the bug reports on all the servers, and the events, finding and fixing problems in the code, the new area, GNWGC, guild updates, I doubt they have time.

don't worry spiritpower your the most popular user on the forums. GJ never knew botting could make people famous. All I have to say is that your the most hilarious person on these forums hahaha.

I know for a fact that Crayon reads these forums. Anyone that has been here long enough knows about the temporary shutdown of these forums. Crayon took the time to go to the temp site and say some very nice words about the time and effort that Ryoko has put into the forums. I asked him about it in game and he confirmed that it was him.

My husband is Crayon.

I doubt any of you will believe me but there it is. Ryoko can confirm that during one time we needed notice regarding the problems certain ISP problems users were having I sent a private message on behalf of my husband.

However, I do have some news that may surprise you all. Crayon has accepted a position at another company. He loved the work despite all of your complaining and the insane hours he had to put in (hell I hated that more) but was offered a position in investor relations ( he studied in the investment field and is working towards a CFA ). It was hard for him to leave. He has always wanted to be in the game industry and loved being involved with Silkroad Online and the wonderful and hugely underappreciated team that they have there.

However, an offer came in that was difficult to refuse and so he has moved on. Now that things have been set in motion or already been put into operation that will and have greatly enhanced the experience you all have...hopefully you won't give gargamel as much grief as you gave my husband.

and yes Crayon was a man. I helped with his early gender bending...but GNGWC made all of it moot.

There were times when I was so angry with how stupid and shortsighted many of you are; and when I would tell him about it; he would just grin and say..."remember before you met me, you couldn't see what was really behind the curtain either". And when I would glare at him and tell him that at least I gave out long reasoned out criticisms he said, "It's like this: when you ride a bike, you hate cars. When you ride a car, you are annoyed by bikes. When you drive a bus, cars are the enemy"

Yes I hate it when he goes all mini-me slightly stupid Socratic sometimes.

But he gave a damn and so does the team. When some of you talk about how Joymax might be in cahoots with botmakers...it just hurt the hell out of him. Bewildered and angered him. When you all talked about how damn easy it is to this or that...and where he knew the truth of how it wasn;t..it would just make him laugh insanely one day and depress the hell out him the next.

Still he does read over my shoulder time to time and laughs at somethings and sarcastically responds at others.

Oh and he just said that he thought playground bullying and taunting of one person was a thing you did in elementary school. He says if Siprit power did really bot then you simply ban him or just don't acknowledge him..if he didn't then this is simply sad sad sad. A sad reflection of many things (okay this part is my words).

anyways he tells me to tell you that this is not goodbye or even a farewell...but that he now simply a player just like all of you..and will join in on bashing Gargamel for being bald.
