Last night I tried to +4 my spear. I can get it to +3 no problem, did that at least 10 times. Failed every time going to 4 (yes +5 would have been next). I went through over 40 weapon elixirs (the majority I'd been saving) and now have none.

My gold ticket has ended and I'm asking myself should I keep pushing to 80 (currently 72 +80% and fully farmed). Or should I start the inevitable and begin farming a new character?

I spent a few hours last night doing just that without a ticket and it wasn't bad.

Alchemy sux bawlz :[ I failed 4 times +3ing my blade But i was lucky enough to have around 20 weap elixirs and i made it on the 5th time.

Which build do you consider to choose if you start a new char?

sharpt, go play some on your bow

its always nice to have an alt, and just move to your nuker when its time

something pure str, like a glaive or blader.

I think you should go for a blader.
You already have an archer and a nuker.
You only need to get a bicheon char now

the bow needs 39k sp to be up to snuff. I've done the math on switching him to glaive, but I'd rather keep him as an archer.

Blader is my first choice. Those chains look so cool.

The chains and the KD+stab are the only things that made me change my mind and go for a blader after all.

After doing some alchemy myself I decided to stop doing much of alchemy. But yesterday I wanted to change the crit of my future bow (lvl 52), and it went from 6 to 12 with 1 stone!
I am sooooooooo happy with that, since its a SoS Bow.
I got lucky I guess after using 15 or more weapon elixers on my old 32 bow, only to get it back to +3 (I wanted to try to +4 it once)
Alchemy can be a bit annoying at time though.

Trying to get my coronto from 250 hp to 400..welll..

1st stone fail
2nd stone fail
3rd stone fail
4th stone - HP went to 60?..
5th stone fail
6th stone fail
7th stone went back to 250 lol

so I left it for a few days because I ran out of stones,found one a few days later,tried once,and poof went to 400 does the end justify the meens? hell no..i lost like 15 mill in stonage

I went through 150+ weapon elixers. Trying to +5 with no astral. I got +4 about 9 or so times. Its now sitting there waiting for astral at +4 since im lazy and dont wanna find elixers any more. But alchemy does suck some times, while other times is great.

my 64 sos shoulder failed to +2 three times in a row >_<

but next day i got +3 no fails ^^

pls dont make another char , ull pass me and have 3 characters higher lvl than me

one of your guildmates tried to recruit my farmer last night .

I get an average of 5 invites every time I log the farmer on, that and accusations of gold buying. etc. Jeez its like a low level char cant have an sox item. I'd guess that 50+% of all the farmers have a high level account as well, at least from those I talked to over the past few days.

Another reason to start a new account is to be closer to the average level of my guildmates. Its alot more fun when you have a big group at the same level.

I'm a little surprised that no one has said to stick it out. I figure one more gold ticket would do it for me, but there's nothing really to look forward to, no skills, no 9th degree, no new transports, nothing that I can't kill now, except maybe yarkan, but he brutalizes me.

I just don't know.

60mil on crit stones and the materials to make them. 7 (25%) -> 4 (0%) -> 7 -> 4 -> 4 -> 4 -> 4 -> 4 -> 4 -> 4 -> 7 -> 4 -> 7. i feel your pain.

And now another character? You got some serious time issues brother.
I'd say, bake some more of those delicious cakes ( the recipe which you posted a looong time ago, it was a recipe of your wife for bakemaster. )

Anyways, I don't get why you need to start a new character when you already have a 64+. Just change him into whatever you're planning for your new character, saves you much time. Time to bake more cakes or to take your wife to a romantic dinner and make sweet love to 'er afterwards.

and btw, that cake, it's real sweet. I suggest everyone who reads this digs that post up and go bake that cake. Bakemaster even said it was ''very bakemaster approved" ...

Me no like alchemy

Alchemy is being pretty bad to me also. My lvl 64 blade took 4 astrals to +5 and every stone i use on it for blues ends up eitehr failing or only giving a 0% base value blue. But i have managed to +4 my lvl 65 talisman and added 5 str, 5 int, and 40% parray to my lvl 64 gloves but everything else, including jewlery, hasnt been liking my stones.

I fail 99% of str stones I touch.
I fail 95% of int stones I touch.
I fail 85% of all other stones I touch.
The very few times I do succeed, it either stays at the same attirbute it was before (50% of time), it goes down (35% of time), or it goes up (15% of time), it can also do all of the above and assimilate anotehr attribute, usually to 0% (95% of time) or up (5% of time)
The worst is a fail and assim down.

Since 98.99% of alchemy I do is with materials and tablets I've got on my own, there isn't as much loss as some people, but it's still extremely frustrating. And when dealing with elixirs, if you're like me and don't have very deep pockets, you can tell yourself "well atleast thoes failed shiled/access elixirs empty out some storage space" all you want, those lucky powders end up adding up

Oh and btw hell, Id unno if you started that noob char yet but I have level 8 som garment boots you can use if you haven't or are still aroudn that level.

Manowar dont talk about astral plz .. i pay from my next month golden ticket for 3 astrals on my spear all failed .. i go beg my friends 3 astrals fail .. not first time .. + 5 didnt work with me form like 40 try except 3 tiems or something

i end up without astrals sometimes work .. my shield lvl 64 and sword lvl 52 went up like that .. but my spear droped ..

the good thing i am most lucky at + 4 .. max takes me like 11 elixirs

Buy another spear and try to make +5 .You perhaps have more success on another spear .

And yea Make A new character jumping around whit . Weasel
