In my opinion, this screen shot doesnt proove anything. The author of the screen shot didnt pm the botter. He can speak in normal chat from far away from the person, then run toward him and finish the last sentence and make a screen shot.
Im sorry, cant beleive u because just only for the screen shot of someone is nuking.

U have to aware of some person who wants to blame other innocent players...

i use item mall arrows.. there is one in my inventory.. the others are just what the monkey is collecting as i grind... waste not want not

ok... i also grind with my monkeys window open and it covers the chatter box... i did consider the F12 thing and that is why the screen shot has the words on my head right infront of it. PMing only alerts the botters with a sound to tell them to get back to their computer. as for not understanding english... i dont care what language you speak... EVERYONE on sro understands the word "botter" when directed at them.


it was not descrete at all... i KSed it many times first... ive seen bots do that wall humping thing before but never when they dont get the drops... i found that interesting looking... and as for the "screenshot of someone nuking" that was just timing... my intention was to get a SS of me talking to it right infront of it... so it could be seen... the nuke just happened to arrive at the time i hit the SS button.

1: Bots are being banned.

2: Are you serious that you go around actually screening and reporting. IMO its a waste of time when you should be grinding.

3: and um yeah wow you caught 1 of 1 million bots.

PMing is the only thing that goes into all chat screens. Many times when I am grinding I just have my guild chat up, therefore I wouldn't see any non-guild messages.

the ban didn't wipe out the player botters, only a few of them

and somehow i bet u know it all phresh.. everyone knows that when u pm some person using a bot program the program alerts the person .. we have seen many posts here about that so stfu and dont try to acuse legit persons pls

Banning is not the solution, maybe some of u may laugh at the 4 block lists of botters. Yet 5000 botters will return to the server with a noob char. What's the point here?

i was grinding... it came to me on a horse and started doing its thing right infront of me... i did not find it... it found me.

if knowing that it makes a noise when PMed makes me know alot about bots... then no wonder there are so many of them.. then again... you are on redsea so im sure you would know more then i

do you see what is directly infront of you when you grind? PMs can also be turned off too and it does not let the sender know that the receivers PMs are off. so PMing has its excuses for not being seen also.

am i seeing this right??? it seems everyone (save for godlikes) is trying to defend botting. either way... this particular bot has been reported multiple times in just the last hour or so now so if it is clean, no harm done and it continues on being a nub KSer that humps the air trying to pick up drops it failed to get... if its dirty... then say goodbye... but then again, not like someone actually worked to get that char up to its lvl so its not much of a loss to them and im sure they will just create another anyhow

hehe if more than half of xian bots then dont be suprised to find some of them defending botting here, pretending to be legit.

anyway.

most of the older members of sro should know how a bot works. information could travel from the botter, to his friend, to his friends' guild, to his friend's guild's union, to a friend's guild's union's member, to a friend's guild's union's member's friend which is you. and how could you not know how a bot works? theres hundreds of topics about bots on this very forum.

no the screenshot may not prove anything, but the words from a well known legit player of this community from a well respected guild should mean something. what kind of noob names their character newstarwar anyway.

Nope not in the least. I know you well enough to take you at your word. And indeed if they had all other chat options closed. Standing right in front of them talking they should have seen. And regardless of whether they understand english or not. Most I have encountered would put up all chat of some sort such as "no english understand".

that guy was probably botting, and yes pictures doesnt say everything, hard to tell, mostly of the time when they dont reply they are botting or they just like being an ass hoping for u to go purple on them so they can kill your ass(I love doing it^^)

The reason is, they don't know you... and a lot of people couldn't judge a bot if it hit em in the head.

Godlikez called it. 50% of the server is gold farmers. 50% of the other 50% are player botters.

75% of Xian is bots.

I've thrown the towel and I don't have to care anymore Just rip on SpiritPower during my morning coffee.
