To you double posters

No need to edit your post and say sorry for double posting. There is a little X button right next to the edit button that will delete the post.
I've been noticing so many people can't figure that it out so I just have to make this thread. Sorry if its off-topic.

I think:
you can only delete your on posts if they are the last one(or only one)
in the thread.

and some people double post on purpose to "level up" their post count?

mods should do something like give warnings

Well, when you double post, if it is truely an accident as half of them say sorry, you can obiously telll you double posted, instead of waste time editing it, delete it.

What are the chances that someone posted like 1 second after you? I've seen it happen to me, but it is very rare. I just notice to many posts edited for double posting.

After you make a post, you will be automatically redirected and right then and there you should check if there is a double post and delete it then; also do not reload the page either because it might disappear.

I'm not annoyed by it, but I just I thought members should know.

Some members are on 56k. Some members just want to "lvl" their post count...which really, is useless. I barely look @ the post count of a person, I just look at their avvy, their post, and their sig, then I reply.

Yeah sometimes you can't help it, once I posted, nothing happened it was loading for ages. A few minutes later I went back on the index didn't even show I posted, I came backa few hours later and there was my double or even triple post
