Hell oeveryone,

I was wondering if anyone here resides in the UAE?? The reason I ask is that I can't play Silkroad for the last 7-9 days. First it wuz huge amounts of lagg (because of the earthquake) and now it doesnt start at all. Keeps giving me a box saying 'THE SERVER IS UNDERGOING INSPECTIONS OR UPGRADES....'

I can't for that matter of fact play any online game right now. I live in the UAE too. Etisalat says its because of the earthquake. Anyone here have the same problem as me?
I'm really gettin bugged now because none of my online games I play work anymore. I can't even connect to the servers. As in the case of Silkroad.

Any help would be aprreciated.

I live in sweden. I had that problem for a while. It took joymax 1 month to fix it.
So i'd report ti to jm and then just wait.

I dont really think its Joymax's fault. Because I can't play any game online at the moment. Interestingly my ISP says its because of the earthquake which I think is BS
I mean, I can't even connect to the servers, thats reall bad.
That's why I wanted to double check with someone from UAE itself.
Ask them if their having the same problem with Etisalat or not.

I am not from UAE but I know everyone from Malaysia and Singapore can't play. Lag like mad.

Thanks for replying, but ATLEAST THEY CAN CONNECT. I can;t even do that. None of my online games working or even connecting to the servers. Thats why I wanted to make sure by asking another SIlkroad Online player from the UAE.

I have the most awful lagg too

That earthquake damaged some of Asia's bigger submarine internet lines, so it can be very well caused by that and not by joymax ... and if you look at the map, the direct connection from UAE to KR goes pretty much that way ... as we in western europe could also take the "other way round" over the USA ... just guesswork from my side as I didn't do any traceroutes so far.

But you should believe your ISP and people who stated it in this thread, that some people either lag like hell or can't connect at all due to the earthquake.

i can play.. but Lag like MAD!!
(only can stall some stuff, the only time to stall)

I wished it lagged for me, atleast its better than not being aable to play at all..

@WoutR. you're dutch right? =) I'm dutch and since the big bot ban I lag like crazy with just lag or 30 secs+ screenfreezes =( it really annoys me

Alright so it finally connects, but thats it..only connects...finally got it to patch..gave me a patching error at first but worked the next time i installed it.
I can finally log on. .BUT THE LAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG...It lags like theres no tommorroww
