I'm sorry to say that due to having too much information about myself online, my character has been hacked. Do NOT trust the current user of the Pinokkio character! I've sent a message to JoyMax, but somehow I don't get my hopes up of getting it back that way. Since I spent over 8 months and $150 in silk on this character, I guess I'll just have to find a way to hack my character back, and find out who was responsible. Yes, I'm extremely pissed right now, and I promise you that I'll not be kind once I find out who did this to me.

Oh, and for the sceptics among you: No, I've not botted. No, I've not visited advertised sites. No, I've not bought silk from anyone other than JoyMax. No, I've not let anyone else play on my account. No, my computer is not hacked, does not contains viruses or keyloggers. My name and personal information is just too freely available on the internet (just google for me sometime ).

I think he could of also meant I've not bought gold, but wrote silk instead in his frustration

I think there was a few M worth of equipment in the storage, nothing major. My character however was a well developed lvl 68 res nuker, with over 250M in equipment (yes, I've been selling a LOT of elements over the last few months), so you can imagine I'm not gonna let this one slide. I've already sent out some emails to some friends of mine, so there may be hope yet. If I get my hands on the person responsible for this, then he'll wish he never messed with something belonging to me.

Can't believe he didn't do a bit more research tho; he would have known I'd have the right contacts to find his ass if he continues to use my character.

I personally? Hmm, I know the basics, and I may be able to pull it off. I've got plenty of friends in the hackers groups tho, comes with working actively in the Open Source groups. I'm not interested in just getting the character back; I want the guy responsible, and I can't do that without a little help from my friends. We'll see what they can come up with.

Most people when they get hacked they think "Oh all is lost, it's all come down to this, this is the end". But you my man, you are determined to get your char back and i'm proud of you, such determination to get back what is rightfully yours and not let hackers get away with shit like this.

Because if I hack my own account, at least I have a good excuse if they do come to me. Hacking into other people's accounts is illegal, and you might want to check into the penalties they've recently put on those actions. Under the guise of terrorism, some interesting laws have been passed, that can be applied to any normal person really.

Don't disclose your methods because the hacker may very well browse the forums.

you guys know who i am and what im capable of but i did not hack pinnokio or whoever that is. if you want, i can EASILY hack your acc back.

Do you know how it feels to get hacked without ANY lead as to who did it?
Its not exactly easy to continue with a game so riddled with hackers/ccfers/botters expecially after you just got hacked.

Heh, and about 95% of the other hits on those 10-14 Google pages are also mine. I guess I should have picked a different secret question; the answer to this one was too easy to find. While we're on the topic: how DOES one change his/her secret question? Or is it fixed once entered? And how about the account name? JoyMax, why can't one change it?

It has come to my attention that the thief is trying to trade my account for an account on another server (notably Athens, but he may try other servers as well). Please let me know if you see someone trying to trade an account of around lvl 68 (no idea what he's done to the character by now) for another account.

i'll keep an eye open
