Humpf...Its not beeing what i was expecting to be, i finally reached lvl 52(got my new sword and shield) and im kinda disapointed, i pvped some ppl lvl 54/55, and my dmg was low.. i have a nice ammount of hp(3.6k) but i want more power, for tht i should add mroe int but...humpf...The problem is, even if i wanted to make a spear pure int guy i have 4 week gt..dam, let me ask u this ppl

hybrid int sword ftw, i wouldnt be surprised at your low damage, maybe they were ints as well, im still pure but adding full str from 70-80 and a frined of mine nuked me while i was in garms only doing 600 dmg. if they were int in garms that might be it ^^ do u use sword skills? kd is the best for pvp.


Pure int spear is a pain in the ass for pvp u get owned to quxk, wich is why i am sword and sheild now.

anyways, i have one to, and it works perfect. Suprised that you have low damage, but as the other person mentioned, they could be int aswell.

You should of went pure int like me i never had any sort of trouble... im good at pvp and great at PVM

errrrr, what level is your highest account? I have a level 71 (almost 72) hybrid INT KD and stab char, and its pretty good. if you need to level faster get a spear and use that youll hit a bit harder. Also go fire if your ice, because it sucks Fire FTW (i was light till 67). anyways keep putting it into int and youll be fine - if your Dmg sucks add int on alllll your gear, there you should be set. bb gl

I pvp with S+S.....but grinding with it is a nightmare.

Thanks for all your replies! I apreciate it ^^, and noooo im not ice, im fire, i got the both kd's, and i use em in pvp. But still i get the feeling im weak and i have int in almost all my shizznet, maybe im not weak i jst.. Maybe its not the char for me cause i love power..i dunno, plz tell me more, tell me how do u feel about ur builds, plz

alright iv heard enough i am going to strangle the next person to say sword+shield for hybrid 2:1 hybuilds is good or best

1: they do such weak damage
2: 2:1 spears win 100% of the time unless there either considerablely lower level or are going against a full sos or just sos wep
3: soo slow in grinding nearly like a blader with a big higher damage

and my list can go on but there is the point there only advantage is KD but thats not going to win them a fight just slow it down

LMAO how are they slow in grinding. they use nukes... not hack and slash..
and nope, theyre not weak. s/s int hybrids are arguably one of the best 1v1 builds. nuke+nuke+kd+3stab and its over. AND if they crit, its definately over..
before i switched to spear, i'd always win in 1v1 battles. i only switched to spear cause of what i saw in wars. which was that int hybrid spears are amazing in group fights. theyre pretty good in 1v1 too. and i wanted the extra hp.

so yeah..

and btw icesworder, are you farmed or not? that could be the differeence.

i was been a bit sarcastic there they are faster then blades and glavies posibly bow but def not spear hybrid or pure ints

and yeh weak damage in pvp

I'm hybrid int and:
Grinding with a sword, I could 2 shot mobs IF i was lucky.
Grinding with a spear, I could easily 1 shot mobs.

With spear, my grinding speed is about x3 faster.

Personally though, I prefer S+S for pvp.

i 3 shot even the best str my level stun-nuke-ghost spear on a bad day another nuke and there gone

hybrid int s+s takes about double that but they do FAR less damage to me so i win in the end

hybrid spears depends on how good they are hehe and there gears so 50/50 win lose on them

blades are hard but cus of there low damage i win eventually

pures are fun 2 shots no nukes wep skills ftw 1 shot if i crit on a spear 3+ shots if they block with a shield

You must be doin something wrong...I find B/S MUCH quicker grinding wise than glaive. Do you use the ranged attack? Used right it makes grinding a hell-of-a-lot more efficient.

EDIT: I just thought of the fact that pure INT sword users do utterly pathetic damage when they're not imbued...

well, jst some buffs that arent strong, i have the speed piercing flow, i have both kd, both stabs, almost got the second book fo lightning nuke, second book of fire and imbue maxed..and i got the other buffs too, this is beeing a gd thread..stil, when u(ppl tht posted beeing hybrid, and ppl tht posted talking about hybrids) what type of hybrid are u talking about? 95mag bal?

well i love my pure int build... never gave me problems.. I can tank full strs ( alchemy ftw) I dont agreee with hybrid builds.. but hybrid spear is better than S/S hybrid int

I'm 90% hybrid spear. And it's been a dream, no need to say more.

I have been both hybrid sword shield, and hybrid spear. I'm sticking with hybrid spear, because they are better at level 80. The sword's damage is pitiful compared to what i can dish out with my spear. Yes sword shield was better at 70, but at 80 they are basically bladers with no hp and no ability to tank.

hey plane, i know in game, happy new year.. yeh, i have a +3 sword, fought a lvl 55 blader and i was doing about the same dmg with kd...wtf is that!

Indeed I do. And I do use ranged. I lvl twice as fast with spear than with sword.
