Drop it like its cold (xmas patch droprate)

The extended thanksgiving event had an incredibly high droprate, after 3 hours of golden ticket grinding i would always end up with at least 30 jewel boxes (topping 50 once).
Well this crap ass xmas event is just another scroll collecting event, but the droprate of jewelboxes is simply astonishing to say the least. Almost EVERYBODY seems to be unlucky on their drops, jewelboxes are almost as rare as sosun drops <_< And its not only the jewelboxes that dont drop, now with the 80 cap the last tier of 8th degree equipment is avalaible, but the droprate of these items is even worse then caves...
A deliberate move by Crayon and co?
Or just typical Joymax?

average droprate on jewelboxes: 1/10% of grinding
average drop in Takla Makan 8th degree gear: 1/10% grinding
The jewelry drop rate is indeed very low. I'm used to that drop rate of equipment since i'm never lucky...

lol, i got 8 boxes in half hour last night! I was grinding at hyungo(sp?) ghosts, they have a nice drop rate for my char (lvl 26).

No offense to you mKaaru but it would be somewhat dumb if the new part of 8th would drop easy. Would kill the game too fast.
I say keep it as it is

I say keep the jewel boxes rare.
As for gear, I got a 68 sword and a 68 shield the first day. Not much since. Same old drop rate on gear, but that's ok.

But I found 3 drops lvl 72 weapon and about 20 or more jewel boxes

yeah same here at the ghost spot i get gear and boxes like there is no tommorow.(lvl26)
