i have officialy quit doin alchamey. i used an INT stone for sword with 10% assimilation(sp) and it failed resulting my crit to go to 1 from 12 WTF!!! any other time i've had good luck with even a 30% assimilation but now i guess my luck has ran out

i hawe used like 20 wep elixirs to make my lvl 32 sos sword +3 =.= stiil hawent made it

Thats alchemy. One minute it can bless you with a +4 in 1 try or a beneficial assimulation and the next minute it can smite ya like a fly.

i did a glaive.. lvl 64 went from crit 5 to crit 12 in 1 stone

i miss the old days before alch was added on only thing u had to worry about was elix on weap, prot acces. DAM U JM!!!!!!

I had that happen i bought a crt 10 blade no blues added all but the last blue... went to add it and boom took my crt to 1... tried stones and only got back to crt 4

i was under the impression that assimilation only took place when the stone was sucsessful rather than when it failed. Can assimilation take place regardless of success or failure ?

Although it's still frustrating, its a sword and if you're using that then you're a nuker which means you never crit anyway.

Most dumb thing I have heard today. If he is sword it also means he knocks down and stabs.. oooo crit isn't important is it?

crit does not really help an int all that much sure you hit harder but compared to a STR a str hits HARD when he/she crits but an int hits maybe 20% more daamge

Ive assimilated the crit on about three different blades. Every time I messed one up, I started over with another one. It is not worth it to spend 10-20M to fix a critical. Better to spend that money on a NEW weapon and +/blue it out or just buy a new one that is pimped already.

Alchemy does suck, but I have had more success then failures.

Hmm dude I hit crazy hard with a crit =( Im a 5:2 int hybrid. Jasper, a more INT hybrid than I am (spear), hits CRAZY hard with crit. And I know a lot of PUREs that use crit to their advantage. If you're going to KD, stab, swing your spear, or eevn do anything besides nuke, you are going to want a high crit. Why not? That 20% more damage is tons more than 0% .

To sum it up:
Crit matters unless you just nuke after nuke after nuke after nuke.

+1 yep, a stone can only assimilate if it "succeeds". Sometimes I am glad a 30% stone fails, phewwy.

Took me 7 str stones to make my sos chest have any str on them.
When I added stamina all the str was gone.
