Alchemy/Equipment Questions!

Hi, I'm a lvl 20 STR Glavie character right now and I am still quite confused about several terms on SRO.
I currently have an SOStar Level 11 Quiliting Headgear (Degree 2). It has a INT 3, STR 2, STEADY 6. Does this mean it is a "blue" item as well as a SOStar item, or would you only consider it as SOStar? So if I want to get this item to +1, I would have to use intensifying elixer (equipment) in order to do so? On top of that, I could also use different tablets to change the stats of the equipment as well? Finally, would I only use Lucky Potions when using intensifying elixers (potential failures) or are there failures using alchemy with tablets as well?
Thank you so much in advance! I hope this thread will help clear things up. I've been looking around the forums and I haven't been able to get a clear answer.
Sorry one last question, what type of alchemy do people use so that their equipment has a glow, and how do you get different colours?

2. Yes.
3. Yes.
4. There are failures, but you can't use lucky stones.

What is the full definition for this term
There are 8 different degrees in sro right now.
For each degree there are a few different items that all look the same.
Seal of XXXX Items are only available as the first item in that degree
ie: SoS 52 Sword is the only 7th Deg SoS sword available, however there are also 2 other levels a 7th degree sword can come in.
Tablets and Lucky powder MUST be the same degree as your weapon to use them.
Does this mean it is a "blue" item as well as a SOStar item
Yes. You have a sos with blues on it.
would have to use intensifying elixer (equipment) in order to do so
Yes as well as a lucky powder of the same degree.
would I only use Lucky Potions when using intensifying elixers (potential failures) or are there failures using alchemy with tablets as wel
Always use lucky powder when trying to enhance an item.
You can only use lucky powder in conjunction with an elixir.
You can and will fail tablets A LOT
Jade tablets fail less on the whole then ruby tablets.
Jade tablets add a blue to your item if it's not there already.
Good luck and have fun =)

you dont use tabs on your stuff, you turn the tabs into stones and add them to your gear. and you dont use lucky with stones. only lixers.

In response to my item being SOS and blue... would it make a big difference if there was no blue (I have 3 INT, 2 STR, 6 Steady) and do people generally care so much?
I plan on selling this item soon so would I advertise it as SOS or SOS w/ Blue?
Stats:
LVL 11 Male SOS Head Protector
3 INT
2 STR
6 Steady
P.S. Anybody know the general price for this?

At the lower levels people don't generally care that much
However
If someone is willing to dish out the money for a sos item they'll throw in a bit more for it having good blues.
Blues make or break an item.

A farmer would pay up to 600k for it. In venice and troy that is. Dont think the diff will be big in other servers. B/c its a low lvl item.

Thanks for the quick replies!
Still got one question that was unanswered though. In regards to the weapons, what needs to be done so they would glow a purple colour? Also, is leaving SRO open the only way to be in merchant mode, or am I missing something?
