Ive heard all different kind of ways to solve the ccfing.
One thing ive heard is that if u are lvl 1 u can only add astrals to D1 items.
Dont know why anyone havn't thought of this though. Maybe it's because it doesn't work...

Simple as u can only add 1 astral and 1 immortal to the item.
This would definately solve the ccd issue.

ccf = credit card fraud (i think... )

CCF = credit card fraud.
Basically u buy silk trough paypal. And then in some way u get your payed money back...
So people do this on a lvl 1 char. They buy 500 silk and add 20 astrals to their weapon. - Free astrals

People make 'fake' accounts do a booking via Paypal or so get the silk, then 'retract' the payment after they used the silk for:
Astrals/Immortal/Luck stones.

The only thing they have to do is :

Tat you can only modify weapons/equipement one tier of a degree ahead of you.

That means, a lvl 52 wont be able to add astral to a lvl 64 weapon.
You would have to be lvl 60 and have the 3rd set of 7d in order to modify
1rst set of 8d

And with the new bot block, i dont think anyone would want to grind to 60 by hand only to CCF and get it banned.

i dont think that this patch will ever come out cause iSRO translates all patches from kSRO and kSRO players dont have that update sooooo...

On topic: i agree with the solution. And there are so many things joymax can redesign to save their 'manual' effort but they don't want to do it.

How about for people who does their weapons ahead of that level? >_> By the time I was 52 I prepared a level 64 weapon xD imagine if that was +4 and I'll be sooo anxious to astral it

Yeah, that lvl restriction would just ruin more for legit players.
Im lvl 16 and sp farming now. And ive prepared with som +5 weapons all the way to lvl 42. And when i hit 32 ill buy a lvl 52 wep etc.

It wouldn't ruin anything for me. I'd rather not be able to get my wep +5 or higher until i hit that level than have a buncha people having a full set of 6 astral +5 gear.

Or, they could check the accounts that get banned for chargeback, see if they applied any item mall stuff to any eq, then if they traded that eq to someone else. Find that eq as it is now, and delete it. So many +9's and +7's would go bye bye.

you should only be able to buy astrals that match up with your lvl or below. We'll see who does charge back on their lvl 64+ accts then...ccfing woudl be worthless.

I am sorry to say that all ideas presented before are not workable. Honestly it would suck if you can only astral stuff your lvl. Some people buy ahead on cheap stuff and fix it up. So they would be S.O.L. and have to wait longer. Also if you are low lvl and poor but can use the item mall. You can sell astral legit for good money to those that can't. Basically it would be like legit gold buying.

What they need to do to sort out the CCFing is simple. On any account. No matter what the lvl delay payment of silk till the transaction has been verrified. Do it at least for the first silk purchase. And maybe randomly after that. I would be happy with that situation. And it would put a real dent in CCFing. They could use fake card numbers and accts. But they would never get the silk.

Here is an idea. No item mall. Just throw up some banners, IG Advertisements. Hell, make horses look like Nascars.

Anyone who is against the idea, Must have liked CCF'ing and depends heavily on it.

I'm quite sure someone posted a very similar topic to this one a while ago. It's a good idea, except i'd say that you should be able to add astral / immortal to equipment at most 1 degree higher than your level so that you can pimp them out just before you hit that level. I'm gonna go look for that topic now...
