good evening fellow forum members, sort of a goodbye post and a warning post to all sro players.

as some might have already guessed it, it's about hacking again. and if the admin wants to delete this thread again, yes i mean again, i won't give a shit about it anymore. since they deleted 1 of my hacking thread before which i don't know why they do that. i hope it's not gonna be deleted, and i want all forum members to read this.

ok back to the main topic. i have been hacked again today. but this time poseldon didn't manage to bruteforce into my account, but he changed my password, not 1 account, not 2 accounts but 3 accounts. yes, you might be wondering why i mentioned his name. you will know the reasons as you read on, it's gonna be interesting.

the first time before i was hacked, i was grinding in cave. D34tH and Cronus came into the room and attacked me, fine i off autopot, D34tH murdered me. after that he pm'ed me, saying that GM is in cave and he's killing the bots. now this is funny, i'm not even botting and there is a real botter beside me, yet they didn't attack him. apparently they were trying to make me log off from the game, so poseldon can log into my account.

i went to the website, and changed my password immediately. after that i logged off, transferred all my stuffs to another account, transferred my guild leadership to another character. then i logged on to 1 of my account which is already in guild to monitor their movement. then i went to the website again, changed my password back to original. i was right, a while later my main character was logged on. of course, there were nothing for him to steal, i bet he was disappointed so he made my character lvl 15 murderer with 80k murder points.

with a resser help, i cleared my murderer status, deleveled to lvl 68. i continued with the game, used all my gold, i decided to buy all 8th deg sos, yes i mean ALL.

my current assets, all 8th deg, 2 sos swords +5 and +7, full sos armor, full sos prot, 5 sos garments, 1 sos ring, 1 sos glavie. i earned them through selling stones and any other stuffs that can be sold. i don't buy gold (and i'm serious, i didn't buy a single million, believe it or not). with my current assets i want to tell poseldon, i don't hack, i don't scam, i don't buy gold, i still can get as many sos as you can. oh btw, me and Zombie_Girl have gotten 9 8th deg sos from earth ghost warrior/soldier.

my current password before it was changed by poseldon, was z1x2c3v4b5n6.
even if you bruteforce, it's gonna take months or maybe longer.

now take a good look at these screeshots, my conversation with poseldon, yes it's me not Zombie_Girl in front of the computer.


if you are not a hacker, you will not reply "im not going too"





how can a normal sro player able to get an account back, when the email has already been changed?

to change an account password, you will need your email address and the secret answer. if you sell your account, the new buyer will have to change the email address. and obviously poseldon somehow has access to the new email address and secret answer. not only he said that in my shop, he did make a global before saying that he can get account back by paying a fee to him, if i didn't remember wrongly.
my account password was hard to bruteforce, that's why he changed my password and email.

some ex-olympus member also confessed that poseldon and lolaus was hacking accounts, and hercules was aware of that too.

now let's see a list of items and players that he hacked:

masterpit - 64+7 sos spear hacked
likexuan - 64+7 sos spear hacked
germanleader - 64+9 sos glavie hacked
pegasus - 64+5 sos spear scammed
xmat - 64+5 sos sword & shield hacked
stormrider - 64+7 sos blade hacked
mrrain - 64+8 sos sword hacked
gc_zhangfei - 64+5 sos blade & shield hacked

there are more, but i can't think of any right now.

if anyone wants to say that they got hacked because of bot, save it. i have friends who don't use bot and still got hacked, and not 1 or 2, it's quite a couple of them.

look at the admin, they aren't doing shit to the botters, yet they keep opening new servers. their patch messed up, end up longer downtimes. event messed up. everything messed up. this game not gonna last any longer.

1 last thing i want to say to GodSlayerS, our proud member of elitediebe union. you can't kill me 1v1, you're just a dog of poseldon that always lick his little toes. just because you're afraid of getting hacked, you are such a wimp. if i have a chance to guild war your so-called godly mortalkombat guild, without any elitediebe members' help, i can say SolReaper and Zombie_Girl will trample your whole guild like how i step on ants.

Just read it on Tavern. I think it will get deleted there. I'm not on Greece so I don't know if this could be true or not. Sucks if it is. But I doubt you can do anything about it, because we all know JoyMax = IDIOTS!

btw. I'm not sure but I think you said you bot? If you did bot, glad you got hacked.

Lets do some comparison with a courtroom as the stage.

You do have some strong evidence. But they are still just evidence, in court they still need to be try out by the defender's lawyer (Poseldon and his gang). The judge (Joymax, lets assume Joymax and it's GM arent corrupt, if they are it's called a corrupt judge) will call you and the others that got hacked as witnesses. You can also be both the prosecutor and the witness. So basically if there is a corrupt judge, you will loose your case, before you even started your first speech in court. But even if the judge is fair, you will have to fight against the defender's lawyer, they will deny it all, and your proof that seems strong now, might not looks as strong when they get try out. And so you will loose the case.
Just think of O.J simpson and all those evidence. Strong evidence, but he still goes free.

So you need some really strong evidence, but anyway everyone with a brain knows that Poseldon\hacker-wannabe does scam\steal\lie\ stuff from other players (botters or nonbotters).

If they are getting into your accts that easy it means you have a key logger. And no that does not mean you bot if you have a keylogger. There are other ways to get them on your system.

I agree with the keylogger part.

Lazy got his account info stolen by a keylogger. How he got that keylogger on the comp is irrelevant.
The one method that I know of is: Imbedding in a botting program. There are most likely other methods, but Im not sure of exactly which.

The longer this all goes on the stronger I do believe that the GM's are actually corrupt, and there will never be an end to this until something is about this by people higher up at Joymax.

If the GMs aren't corrupt, they have a funny way of showing it.

All of our info on silkroad is related to our IP addy. most of you know this seeing as how JM bans Ip and you account , well doesn't work. If someone were to abtain info with corresponding IP's all that they would need is to figure out your IP and look for your info. Well, with a little bit of know how. See Pos, Im not on my original Ip anymore thats why you only have those 2 account names. Sol, once again sorry to hear they got ya again. Have fun man.

I'm very sorry to hear of your leave, SoI. And I express my deepest regrets in the exploit of your account by Poseidog and their fellow EliteDog members.

It somehow reminded me of, back in time, when likexuan was hacked. He and his girlfriend was my closest real life friend, which was forced to quit on Greece server because of the same issue. Likexuan received a offer from another EliteDiebe member to hack back her account at around 500 dollars US.

Anyhow, you've proved to us all with your example that poseidog has somehow accessed all your accounts with your private Email and secret question, which means we are all in a position of possible exploit in the future.

I must say, Greece server players gets the most shit out of the bastard's stay on our server. Wish you the best on your future games.

It's hard to choose sides when EliteDiebe is full of hacked-SOS with botters or the recreated Myrmidons who are 80%+ botters.

You don't know me SolReaper but we've fought on opposite sides before, not that it makes a difference. The only problem is that you affiliate with blatant botter guilds.

Each hack incident is really making people's account insecure...

apparently some readers doesn't understand what my thread is about. ok let me simplify it.

i got hacked twice. the first time the hacker got into my account trying to steal my items. 1 possibility of getting hack into account was getting keylogged which a lot of people already pointed it out.

now after more than 1 month after i was hacked the first time, i finally got hacked again yesterday. this time the hacker didn't log into my account, he changed my email and password of 3 of my accounts

if i have a keylogger in my computer, why would the hacker wait until today to hack me again, and why don't he just log in to my account and steal my stuff but changed my email and password? and how did the hacker know that these 3 accounts belongs to me? was it a coincidence? the user id of these 3 accounts are not even similar at all, but i lost them together on the same day

i would care less if i were hacked through a keylogger, why would i still waste my time writing this post? i always scan my system with the latest virus updates to ensure no malicious program is running on my computer.

my intention of this post was to let the community aware that this game is no longer safe to play anymore. you guys complained about bots, the GM ban gold bots. you guys complained about ccf, nothing was done. like i said, they messed up the patch, gave us a compensation event, then the event messed up too.

i would appreciate if those who agreed with what i've said, contribute something to this thread to prove my point right and keep this thread alive

I'll say this, IF you bot, then that's the problem. You said before that you were hacked to keylogging from what? botting? If you scanned your computer for keyloggers BEFORE and still got keylogged, then now is no different.

Showing won't get your account hacked directly, but people who can hack or who TRY to hack will ATTEMPT your accounts so you are in more danger, that's all, just a warning and precaution.

Breaching the SRO database is unlikely because EVERYONE would lose their items. So far, most people who are hacked are previous botters or illegal conduct users LOADED with SOS. That is a TREND, that is so far the MOST LIKELY INDICATOR for hack. HuyFond and Passion, as far as I know, DON'T BOT.

I can't say hack is any better than botting because BOTH are runining the game.

I don't want to reveal my IGN for undue risks. All you need to know is that I am legit and in a legit guild and union.

I strongly believe that Lazy bought her account on eBay. Why? us long time ago i was in her guild with her cousin and he/she told me that he bought it on eBay.

To the SRO hackers:

seriously, I don't really see the point of hacking into an online game and stealing their stuffs. First of all it's a bloody game and what you're stealing are just some digital properties that in due time you'll just get sick of. Gamers play to have fun, and make friends and test their skills (in online games). If you want to hack, and I mean really hack (not doing some lame azz shiet like embedding a keylogger code you didn't even write to a bot and then just wait for the e-mail of the keylogger), go hack some corporation's server, obtain their information and harass them for real money: i.e do something really profitable. The so-called "hackings" that I have read here are not really hacking. I know, I've hacked before and I studied computer security extensively.


To the hacked SRO users:

I feel sorry for you guys, but I must say that part of these are your fault too. If you really value your character, you would have not visited sites you don't trust, put up a firewall, get the best anti-virus and anti malware software and change your password often, and not putting your girlfriend's birthdate or your dog's name as a password. If you're rich enough, get another computer dedicated just to SRO (game PC) and nothing else (other than accessing official SRO website to change your password often). Ando for the love of God and all things beautiful, try your very best to avoid cybercafes to play SRO.

Finally here's a tip to a good password:

-get a dictionary, close your eyes, open a random page and point to somewhere in the page. take the word you pointed (if you point the meaning of it, take the word that denoted the meaning).

-do the step above again.

-device a method (dice, dart board, wheel of fortune) to choose numbers randomly.

-join first word, second word and the numbers and there you have your password. ex. first word is possesive, second word is trout, number is 4,3,9 and 7, so your password is possesivetrout4397.

clarence, that password is bruteable within 48 hours. Yall dont get it screw calling them hackers. All passwords can be cracked. You just have to have the know how, and patience.

I remember 2 more ways of getting your account info stolen:

1. Posting on the official forum at one time could allow the people with certain skill to somehow get your account info. This is a fact, as when one of my friend got her account info changed, I asked this person with the this hax0r skill for help, and he asked if my hacked friend posted on the oficial forum, which she never did, so my hax0r friend couldn't get the account back that way. I don't know if JM has closed that security hole yet.

2. I read on this forum once some posts by a SA, that there is a trade and party hack. That if you join a random party or trade with random people, and these people can actually somehow, just by trading and being the same party with you, they can get your account info.

MaGaO scammed and Stormrider hacked at the same day. this was happened approximately 1,5 month ago. Then Stormrider closed down the Vi3tE_4ever and leave the game. after that they regrouped the old guild..

Well... That would only end up giving them your forum account, not your actual in-game account.. Because, as far as I know, there's no need to use the same account for the forums as you use in-game.

And the keylogger stuff, heck, even one click in the wrong spot on a website and you could get one of those installed. Click yes on an "Active-X controller" warning, and they might get the shot at installing whatever stuff they want on your machine. =X

Anyways, too bad you got hacked Sol, no fun to see, at all. :/
