Hello. This is Silkroad Online.

We will extend Thanksgiving Festival Event as compensation event for 2 weeks for the frequent server downs that have been happening for a few days.

#Event Extention Period: by 12/26/2006

We have also prepared a big update after ending event.

Update #1: Takla Makan Update
- Level cap lifted to level 80.
- Takla Makan map opened.
- A new Unique Boss introduced; Lord Yarkhan.
- Level 60~80 Takla Makan monsters added.
- Level 60~80 Takla Makan quests added.
- 8th Degree high level Items available

Update #2: Christmas Event
- So-Ok's Christmas gift: a reindeer you can ride.

hm... so christmas event after 26 december? (if they dont screw it again offcourse or else we will have christmas even on easter) LOL... u must be kidding me xD

Actually its a week. But still I would rather have no event these boxes are seriously starting to piss me off. I just drop scrolls now when i get them.

Sick of this event anyways, i sold all my scrolls (i get them a lot, actually for every box) for .5k each yesterday cause i was so sick of them.

the cash supply is growing pretty fast, I hope you like high prices.

I love the fact that people are still trying to sell the job itmes in stalls. Everyone has them that wants them, npc em already!

3. gay C9 error for about 6 hours
4. silkroad doesnt even open

I bought my dragon flah for 100K from some new person.

why not an 30% experience increase event??? i lost 4 days of GT cuz of the lag and inspections... instead they stick with this crappy event, crayon is an inconsiderate bastard i tell ya!

And you guys were telling me in the dragon flag prices thread they were going to go up. Even in between these two events...they were still going down. I knew I shouldn't have bought extra flags. XD

This is a crappy compensation. How about more xp / drops. I only play for a few hours on tuesday, make them count more.

This is amazingly annoying... My winter vacation was going to make the 19th of december great. I'd have 3 weeks to get to 80... Now, it looks like I won't make it before school starts up again.

As for the extension on the event; it is cool and all, but its completely screwing with the economy. Noobs are suddenly getting 440k a pop on the job suits. Level 16~20 farmers are getting loaded at the BH. My friend sells almost 10 suits a day to the npc. He's netting more then 4.4m a day -.-. I was going to trade with my level 70 [3 stars] until the cap went up, but I might as well grind now. Taking a ox to hotan from dw with a 3 star = ~45 minutes. Number of boxes I get from warriors in ~45 minutes = 4 or 5. I get a job suit almost every 45 minutes... So why bother trading when I'm pulling almost 440k per hour + drops from the mobs...

Christmas event when Christmas is over?

Well I can't complain, I'm curious about the rendeer, but I'd have chosen to participate in the Guild Wars event above SRO's. Now I can participate at both!

The only thing that's good about this event,is the fact that the money's growing,which is always a good thing.

The things that are definitely not good about this event are:

1.Noobs screaming:PLZ!PLZ BUY,PLZ BUY! IM P0OR PLZ! NEED MONEY TO RESS WOLF!!!!!!!@!#@!

2.The lagging: it's is so aggrevating to me,that it makes my blood boil,and my bowels contract at the slightest sight or smell of lagg.

3.The prices of some items,some SOS,or Sosun are all of a sudden incredibly overpriced,and the monster scrolls,are worth more then 900K?!

it doesnt say anything about pandoras box anymore:[

I wonder what the big update will be after the event? Maybe the job update? Its quite overdue and ksro got it right after their cap was raised to 80.

How is this a good thing? The more money circulating in the economy means that prices for everything will go up. Why do you think SOS & other stuff is so expensive now? Everyone has so much more money, so they can afford to spend more on SOS which then drives up the prices. Cheap gold from gold bots is also having a big impact on the prices of things as well. I'm just glad the price has gone up again to $10, I just hope it stays like that for a long time so they can stop farking with the economy.

hahah more like Christmas event on valentines and the valentines event on easter rofl

i feel like this extended event should end. and that there shouldnt be a compensation event. i dont know about the other servers, but when we had that one a while back, (i play on oasis) it took forever to log on. and if you did it was laggy as shit. the guild i am in is done for because of that compensation event. people in it just gave up and dont play anymore.

so if they do another comp event, hello botters, goodbye players.

as for the christmas event, i feel like they should just have it when they said they would cause no one cares about having a compensation event. am i right? we just want the updates, i think we can all forget and forgive the server shut-down incident.

as for me, i just want the new server to open. i am done with oasis.

Compensation Event: maybe a 100% EXP raise
Christmas Event: lasting for month (so people don't have to worry about not being able to enjoy it)
Pandora Box (monster scroll): make it so it cannot be useable around towns. Why? well people lag like crazy already in towns why make it worse?
Takla Update: well good luck with this update, there will be flaws and a lot of inspections because of this update.
Server Pacific: shouldn't have been delayed, though I just want the server to be released before the Christmas Event.
