It's a good thing our founding fathers wrote in the bill of rights:
"No person, without the consent of the owner, shall take over control of a Silkroad online account but in a manner to be prescribed by law."

I guess someone didn't read the TOS:
4. Account Theft (Hacking) Related Policy
4.1 Actual account theft/hacking is illegal appropriation or modification of data sent or received. The hacking/account theft that normally occurs however often requires knowledge that is often exposed by negligent management by the user of their own account information.
4.2 The Silkroad Online operations team will not offer services to resolve instances of account theft/hacking.

Stealing your Silkroad account is not "extremely illegal", the act of stealing is illegal, but you're making it sound like it's a geat loss. There are much more worse things in this world.

Software is tricky, but since it's operated in Korea, no, it does not follow the Constitution. There IS an International Law though.
Just move on. Even if there was, by some chance, you could do legal wise, do you have any idea of how much it'd cost and how much time it'd take?

You can not call any one. The acct is not yours. Joymax has said they own all rights to a character NOT YOU. So basiclly you have no say now.

i hate too much critics, like they know everything. Hey tell ya all critics something. blamming on people doesnt make things great. I cant comprehend the idea of having people that is so negative in this world, but yet it exist.
people who criticize always has a problems themselves. either socially, or metally. I know they'll hate me if your read this. So. the guy just expressing his thoughts. conveying his idea that stealing account in not illegal. people give their opinions. people who says them>> 12 year old child, doesnt know english, whatever that is etc. i think this people are very negative and should by far, be ignored by society. so, if reach a person like this, just conceptualize that this person is NEGATIVE!

To answer your question, no. All done in game with regular clients and such. No 3rd party programs. Still very likely that the bug still works.
