about pets and how to make money.

I heard that people leave theirs pets out all alone collecting gold and stuff. but i tried this and it doesnt work apparently or i dont know how to do it lol. so my questions.
1. does the pet collect money even after you die?
2. does the pet roam around the areas all alone if you are in a safe place, lets say somwhere where no monsters spawn?
i really have to make some money with this pet lol. tell me how to do it.

You might need to turn the grab feature on.

well, the pet picks up all avaible gold around you, but yeah, you must turn the function on

And set it to pick up everyone else's stuff.. not just your own..

yes i have the autograb setting on. but if you put it to pick up all items when his inventory gets full, the autograb setting will be set to off automatically. so i only set it to pick up gold.
but i need to find an area where i can stay alive for hours while my pet picks up gold lol. i tryed it on stronghold i went afk and my char died, but my pet stopped collecting money. then i went inside the stronghold and my pet stopped moving or something. i guess its not worth the trouble. too many pots and not much gold. i guess ill just keep farming and collect money that way. need a long way to go for that 150k.
edit: one last question. does the pets time run out even when your not logged in the game?

You can go AFK in the Bandit Den where all the sp farmers are at, but the thing is most of them also have pets themselves. For the ones that don't, they will leave tons of gold for you pet. ^^
I use to go AFK near the southern gate of the Hyungyo homeland...it's outside, but along the wall. There's almost always some grinders there that just leave their drops on the ground.
And I find that a lot of Turks don't pick up their drops, so have them on trace, but remember to check up at least every 30 minutes or so to see if they scrolled back to town. You can also trace bots in non-aggro areas like at the Bunwangs or Pennons.
And if you die, your pet wont do shit.
