Once again a new server opens and I log on to create a new character. A week later I see plenty of lvl 4x people, selling tons of SoS. How the hell do you even get to lvl 45 in a week? I've never been higher than 37, and that took me something like six weeks of semi-serious playing.

Are they all using gold tickets and a 0-level gap or what?

Same thing goes for this guy who has a stall right by the blacksmith, and sells SoX and other items. He's got SoS bows, SoM armor and lots and lots of other things; as soon as someone buys an item, he adds a new one. Where do people get the millions and millions they need to buy a lvl 16 SoS +3 bow - in less than a week?

I feel like such a n00b.

This may be a SRO myth, but I heard that monsters might drop these sacred items! I don't believe it myself though.

I was thinking that too, but I hoped it wasn't so. I haven't played Silkroad or followed the forums since August or something, so I have no idea how widespread this is. But I did think it was weird that there were people who had over 3 million gold after a week of playing. I can understand how you can get those amounts in a week if you're a high level who buys low and sells high, but not when you're below lvl 20.

Gold botters sell gold for Silkroad...some even put up stalls or use globals to advertise it.

its kinda hard to make 3mil at 16...
it takes 1 day to get to 20

Well, Ya cant buy lots of gold in the new server since trade has been glitched. So you really cant say buying gold. As for the event we had a few weeks ago. That helped alot in, about 2 weeks i made over a 100 mil in gold. Its not hard just start farming. lol, An occasional sos drop might help like it did with me.

Well, 1-16 I can do in a day (not 20, I'm not that dedicated to grinding), but it's a VERY different thing to go from 1-45 in a week...especially in the 30's there are a few levels where there are very few quests; if you want to level that fast I'm sure you'll need a gold scroll and a zero level gap.

Nevermind, back a-grinding I go. Lvl 13 with a six level difference, time to get some SP.

it is possible to lvl up 1-20 in 1 day,but if u'll have some support of money and item ,such as bows +1+2 or even+3,without u cant
but in eldorado,>if even in 1 day> u cant go up to lvl 20
cus havent any support,there are any high lvl item sellers ,ecpecially +3

2nd , if u is lvl 18>u'll not have lvl18 item))u must find it ur self>when u lvl up extremely fast

u can lvl fast with 5lvl farm too,and then u can became nuker>u'll have enough sp in lvl 30>and as we know>nukers are killing for 1-2 hit>so lvling speed increases in 2x than any other build

If you want to level fast you only grind on fast spawning mob and do only quest on those mobs. All other quest give you less xp then grind for the same time.

when servers are opened there is about a 100% drop increase because there are no items out after there are items out the drop rate wil decrease but its like when the caves were opened loads of sos were found

Well there are some non-farming builds for fast leveling on a new server...
Nukers use pacheon (on lvl7) and the two skills till lvl30 + lightning as high as it can get
Tankers use pacheon till 16 and then switch to their real weapon + fire/lightning imbue depending on the weapon... imo bladers use lightning so they can do more dmg over time -.-
And after getting to 60 they start building gap, get fully farmed in 2 weeks and thats it..

I was going to say bot. Cause my friend is using a gold ticket month, and he is getting 1 level a day but he started a level 28 and now level 45 or so. Maybe 2 at start but 1-45 in a week could only be done by a botter using a monthly gold ticket to speed it up.

Once you hit a certian lvl it becomes much easier to hit that lvl (or slightly lower) in less time. Your highets lvl has been 37. Other people have had legit lvl 70's before. Imagine how easy it would be for someone who has played this game and "beaten it" in a different server, to come here and lvl up that fast? Imagine how many devil masks and diamond yachas they killed to get from 69 to 70. Thats about how many chakjis, earth ghosts, tigers, mangyangs, earth taoists, scorpions, black robbers, mujigis, spiders, bunwangs, red eye ghosts, hyungno ghosts, bandits, and whatever else I missed to get to 45.

The amount of grinding it takes to get to 70 is ridiculous. In that time you could easily get to 45. I mean. My highest level character WAS lvl 37, and when I re-rolled on Rome, It took me a little less than two months to get to lvl 45 on rome (meanwhile it took me over 2 months to get to 37 on my other character).

Its all about experience and knowing how the game is played.

Getting gold is easy if you know how to manage your gold. I suck at managing my gold so im always poor. Dont go shouting "BOT CCF GOLDBUYER" just cuz you fail. Alot of people easily make 24mil and up the-legit-way. And besides, goldbuying really isnt that bad. Out of the "3 sins of sro" it definitely is the least problematic. Alot of people know how to level up fast, and also, alot of people get luckier than others. AS in (Oh my I just got a lvl 24 sos and it is the weapon That i am using. Oh goodie this will help me kill things faster = faster leveling up than those other noobs that do not have sos.". Of course, alotof other people just bot. Look out for EvilSoul and AngelSoul on El Dorado. They will be the first to 70, then theyll ebay their chars and move on to the next one.

If i had a CC you bet your ass I'd be the richest person on Rome. And you also bet your ass that It would all be from goldbuying.

x The one day event, some where pretty rich as result of lucky event drops.
x Buy low, sell high. You'll be amazed how much money you can make with that.. especially on a new server.
x Play much.. it's not that hard to get 'high lvl fast' if you know what you're doing.
x Non-farming build.. like a pure int with only lightning+heuksel/bicheon
x Get lucky with drops, such as sos' etc.
x Sell globals, although they didn't sold much on the new server if you did it much I quess you could make some good money of it.
x Buy alot of silk yourself

x Share acounts.
x Bot -> you can also run multiple clients, and bot on other chars to get money.
x Power lvling.
x Sell silk (or pretend to and get others acount info >.>")
x Make website pretending to sell bots and such.


And I'm sure there' alot more ways that I didn't mentioned

P.s. I find gold-buying alot more anoying then botting and such ;p. Player botters can get banned.. and cff'ers do the same as legits, only they use fake money. Gold buying creates gold-bots (alot more then player-bots) which take up lotsa grinding space.. etc ^^

well geting to lvl 4x in a first week when the new server opened is all eplained by gold buyers, goldtickets, and haven't you all heard of a womaan who played wow for 26 days ! without no sleep even no rest had only a glass of water by her side and after 26 playing the game died !!

omg this is a realy sad story im telling you but its all true and soz for those of you who got shocked after reading this. well thats what would hapened to anyone of us if we played silk "hardcore"

45 in a week = Gold Tickets + botting.

Stall full of SoX item in a week = he has lots of bots out there grinding.

I'm sure buying gold helps people level quicker by getting better gear and whatnot but, nothing that drastic, they must be botting else they have absolutely no life. Other possibility is they used one of the 'legit' power leveling 'services'.

I'll second that lol, it's either a guild full of botters or a guild full of SP farming crackheads. =p

Once you've got ~100k, you can easily make that into 1 million in less then a day. I'll be making a guide where I show how and with what you can do that (Just as HuyFong's "guide", which isn't out yet, but for low-lvls in jangan).

dont jump to conclusions. It is VERY possible to get 4x in a week or so on a new server. On already established servers, people who play 3 hrs a day on gold time can get 0-20 in a day, 20-28 on 2 nd day, 28-32 on 3 day etc... Yes not having the availability of items makes it harder but there are many legit players who just wanna be the first to a high lvl on the new game and will commit 3 or more hours a day into doing it

as far as the SOS. They are not expensive. The base of these people's money comes from gold drops and npcing for the most part. Plus new servers get a drop increase rate.

Bot? Maybe. But they can definetly be legit too.
