No players means no market for gold and botters,
iSRO is a great game!
Good game will get more and more players to come in,
More players will get more bots to come in,
More bots will get more ppl to leave,
Until another better game comes up, left players will come back realising that this is a good game.

Alot of ppl keep saying they want to search for a good game with less Bot but the thing is ALL GOOD ONLINE GAMES R FILLED WITH BOTS.

So your options are, either to quit playing online game, or you must get used to it. I rather play a good game filled with bots and players than playing a sucky game which is bot free and almost empty... If a game is empty, it defys the meaning of a MMORPG. I might as well play a single player game.

no, not all games are full of bots dammit.

SRO isn't that good.

I'd prefer a good game with no bots. Settling for less isn't something I'm fond of.

Its just not possible to get a good online mass player game with no bots.... Simply not possible...

sro is a bad game compared to 95% of other games
sro has lots of bots

sro has great elements... but it's by no means a polished, complete, quality piece of work, infact, in as many ways as it is great, it is incompetent and incomplete.

Why compromise?

If you're talking specifically about isro then I urge you to take a look at how long this game has been out v. how many bot lists there are.

For that statemnt alone you should have your internet connection taken away.

As far as MMO's are concernd SRO is pathetic it has one thing going for it is the speed of combat its what i like to call actiony thats what keeps you here .

Graphics
Gameplay
Combat
Perks (player housing char creation etc and so on)
Wow factor (usually a license of some sort or "theme" of the game)
Lore
Char diversity (builds)
Mobs
Customer service.

Graphics -ill start with the char models and animations there of, my female char runs hunchbacked ...knuff said, World graphics some of you think they are gr8 i highly disagree there mediocre at best and even thats a stretch.

Gameplay - repetative you do the same 5 quests 50 times and the complete lack of team play is unforgivable

Combat- good stuff in sro it is the 1 thing that kept me playing as long as i did .

Perks- sorry guild storage and emblems arent perks they certainly dont give me a feeling of ownership and the ingame event lol lets not go there.

Wow factor- neat idea to use chinas silk rode but lazily implemented ask yourself this when you play do you feel like you are a part of the silkrode and its trade routes?

Lore- non existant a couple char desriptions and a paragraph of what the silkroad was isnt lore,and ingame lore bahaha where? god forbid you want to RP in an mmoRPg

Diversity- game is based on gear and even that is limited to the degree you are in every glaiver lvl 70 uses a 64 glaive we all look like we are cut from a cookie sheet hell we cant even change the color of our clothes .This in no small part made me leave i can only look at that farking 8th degrree shit so long before i wanna barf.

Mobs- haha there is about 10 mob models in sro they just keep recycling them change the color the name ,particle effect and presto new mob ....yeah right JM i dont buy it.

Customer service. Please don't insult me and say JM has any at all .

There are some really good games on the horizon by companies that take what they do seriosly im gonna list a few . do yourself a favor apply to there beta's . Beta testing is the best way to have an impact on gaming from the end user lvl.

its always a good idea to check the mmo listings to see whats on its way out and just apply to the beta's you get in on the ground floor and it costs you nothing .

Decent graphics is enough. More than not, games with great graphics usually compromise their gameplay. Good and classic games are usually not graphically mindboggling...

Every game has basically the same formula for quests but that's really not "gameplay" to me. To me it's like your "combat" but then you're probably referring it to PvP. Gameplay is basically all the elements to play or rather, control your character and kill monsters. Is the character overly clumsy (besides getting stuck at bad corners). Is the character slow? Does the screen move around like moving blocks? Or does a movie need to play for each skill? Or is the game SMOOTH moving, flowing, with fast and accurate responses? Do you attack one boring mob at a time? Are mobs too far apart and few? Are there AoE's? It feels great to tank uniques and multiple giants and mobs. Team play is key in MMORPGs...which SRO lacks badly. Hardly anyone trades, therefore hardly anyone hunts, and thieves just stand around looking cool. IMO, gameplay is the single most important factor...everything else is just a brownie point. SRO really has the control and game play down, the movement and response is great (w/o lag) and attack sequences are fluid. What is lacks is a larger picture accomplishment besides a "so called" richest person or level 5 trader or strongest player or guild. SRO needs a battlefield with constant wars to keep the team play alive...and dominant.

With that said, I don't think the games you listed will compare to SRO.

Bare in mind that iSRO is a FREE TO PLAY game.

WoW, FF11 and etc requires monthly commitment which explains y it provides much better services. But, they still lag in times, and Bots still exist.

If you are given something free to play with, the least you should do is appreaciate. You can quit if you don't like it, nothing to lose there. If you have already paid for silk, it means you like the game. Y would you buy silk if you don't like the game?

I know there are alot of better games out there, but SRO is good in many ways... What makes u play for so long if its not? Till lvl 50++? There must be something good abt it rite?

SRO differs from other games because it made realistic characters look cool, all other mmorpgs make ogres, elves etc. childish characters IMO

didn't see this comment, my friend bots wow and ff11 and i know a site with coh/cov bots. please name more.

Go play EQ2. We have a couple gold farmers, as does every game, but no botting.

Besides, On PVP Its fun to kill the gold farmers

Bare in mind that joymax generates as much if not more revenue than most Pay to play games ....there is no excuse for there complete lack of customes service.

Dont get me wrong SRO is a blast to play and highly addictive but there are too many drawbacks to ignore . When i started playing there was 3 servers and the game was young all this could be excused but not any longer ..

At the rate joymax is going now inside 6 months all thats gonna be left are hardcore bottors and fanboys.

Not only that sro isnt a free to play game anymore you cannot compete unless you use the item mall, another big mistake they made was putting items in there that unbalance the game .

Most pay to play games are 10-15 bucks a month and thats all the money you spend ever . This is a guess but i would venture to say that 75% of sro players spend that and more in SRO difference is we dont get the CS that money should be paying for .

Step back and look at it objectively ,you will see im right.

Probably only 25-30% of people buy silk around $20 a month (gt + pet). On greece anyway, the majority of the population is in DW and they remain in DW from the lack of silk..
