Too many people are quitting SRO

For the last month I noticed many people quit SRO. For people from my country still number one reason to quit is lag. T-Com+servers in Korea+Servers = mega ..... lag, if we get 5 seconds lag free it's like Christmas. As for the rest number one reason, is, was and still will be are botters. From what I've heared GM's say that we are jeaolus on botters. :roll:

As I started a new int char, I got myself sos 42+5 sword. I am farming on bunwangs, a lot of gold bots, but fine I move to an area where there is less of them. I went to try out how I do with mujigis/ujigi, I can 2 shot them with lvl 8 gap.

But I die because of lag.

Anyway, there are so many gold bots it's ..... unbelivable. So much of them they KS each other, there's no ..... way to play there, it's not just the caves anymore. I just cant comprehend how can JoyNax allow that. I assume there are at least 500+ gold bots per server, probably more. That is the reason why people quit, and move to rapplez or something. I tryed flyff, guild wars, rapellz, they all suk, I only like SRO. But what annoys me is that good people quit, and I have to stay with retarded botters and ccfers. If the trend of quitting continues I predict end of iSRO in 6 months. And all that because they are too greedy... Opinions?

i want to quit and then i dont at the same time i cant even do 40min of this one day scroll due to dam devil eyes in my spot IM ON THE ..... ICE and level 70 mobs are there like as if they were mobs that should be there as there is soo many

Put it this way .. I have 20/20 friends on my friends list ... 17 have been grayed out for ages..

And they all high lvl, you CAN NOT compete vs goldbots who obviously don't give 2 shits about real players.

I can assure you if joymax don't give us something big this upcoming new year. That like 50% of the legit game will die. It's gonna turn out like jsro .. abondoned only goldbots runnin about tsk tsk.

it might be that joymax is getting bribed by thepowerlevel.com, thsale.com, and all these gold sellers. and these gold sellers are the number one source of gold bots. :banghead:

I would quit 2 if i didn't have any plans for SRO like just playin for fun.Kinda settin aims you know
But now i don't even know if i can make it due to the circumstances , so why play

My reasons to quit:
Getting in the game:
- Sometimes(almost always) it take more time to login than to play
- Then in the game you can't trust anyone
- The Hack protection is rubbish: my first account got hacked
now it is a "Mined Area" so i had to make a new one

- The whole community is corrupted :banghead:

at least half of the people
I meet in the game are Ks'ers, Hackers, Botters, or other Riff-Raff
- Game play is becoming monotonous(except the chance for uniques in
the seldom events :cry:

)
- No luck :arrow:

NO DAMM SOS DROP SINCE I STARTED

(last year dec.)

)

I can't believe I'm still playin this game cos I always end up givin more than I get

Well man i didnt agree with most of what you said before but now being at capped and farmed for about 4 weeks i truly understand what you been saying all along that this game is pointless, Well currently in Aege possibly the worst server there is unless you have hundreds of millions of gold or full sos gears theres nothing you can do at pvp which is the only thing left to do at cap, Gold Bots,Ccfers have totally destroyed this server and or game you simply cannot afford any decent 8d Items at ALL, Pure white Garments +3 go for 5m+ Want a nice +3 chest with +5str and +5int with some hp your looking at 30-50m, +5 glavies are 45m+.

I worked so hard for my +5 glavie and full set of +3 garments with some hp and str which is worth shit now, oh man why did i waste my time with this game where GM's Let the situation which is now continue in aege, I be leaving for rappelz and wow once expansion is out. sorry for the rant i just was looking so forward to pvp and being full farmed.

What luck I have, starting SRO during a time of such strife. :cry:

I won't quit. It's not like I play this game for hours a day, cos I can't, so I don't see much reason to move to a game that costs 15 bucks a month. Besides, by the time I hit 70, which will be a looong time, it hopefully won't be the cap anymore. By 90, if I ever do that(4 years from now lol), hopefully the problems will be fixed.

Or it will die out cos of mass botters.

i started playing couple weeks ago .. just wondering has it always been like this?? the problem with bots , ccfers, lag , problems getting in game?? was it always like that?? or was there a time way back when this game was accualy worth playing?

I quit 3 months ago SRO, but i returned to see if it's better, because i tried to play WoW, Cabal, Dawnspire and tons of other MMORPG, but SRO is a great game and the way they made it is just great. BUT... Bots, Lag, KS, Hack, Login.

Soo nothing changed, the game is still S**t. Chaby is correct, if nothing happens in the next time, this game is going to be played by Bots, which due to gold farming never will buy some silk!

I can`t afford 15$ per month, don`t because I don`t have, if not, I don`t have a credit card and in my country there is not another payment method.
And, I Will never spend real money in a game xD, In silkroad I trade gold per silk, and I can be hapy, cos I use to play in nights, and the servers use to be, Populated

Well if your going to quit Give your account away or sell it. I have been playing and Recovering peoples Quit/Lost accounts for almost a year. So basicly if your going to quit i would personally take it into my hands and play it. Im just to lazy to make my own.

QFT. I had my +5 spear, and +2 - +4 prot and garms. But the ccfers had +5 / sos garms, and +7 or +7 sos weps. There was nothing I could do. Not to mention all the botted up sp.

Do yourself a favor Jewro, download the wow trial, if you like it, buy the game cards off ebay if you can. Sorry if you can't, not sure on your country + paypal. Sro was fun for what it was, and might be really fun if it is ever finished, more variety added in quests / things to do, botters removed, ccfers wiped out, and generally perfect.

Personally i think silkroad is the funnest Game to play ever... If you have an account lvl 40+ thats worth restoring add me to Msn or Something im willing to help. Im currently out of an account. Looking for a Permanent One atm, And Im too lazy to make my own. Since ive made 5 only for them to be Banned because of Chargeback Via my Friend...

Blame human stupidity and not joymax
We are kinda lazy and choose the fastest way to get somewhere
some buy gold and others bot..you can`t blame joymax for this cause they simply are overpowered for a free game.

Joymax is actually doing a good job first by creating such a great game second by banning the reported bots (although this is still going slow cause they need MORE gm`s and you simply can`t ban every report due to fake reports from some players) check for example this dude http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0hCa7tlYF4 (most people still think he bots by his speed but this is what i call a skilled grinder)

i think they are waiting with rising the cap just to make sure ksro bugs are removed first.. or you just give people a copy of a rather buggy game we should be happy with what we get but instead we always whine and flame around.
I think joymax is rather happy with those goldsites they probably pay a lot for globals each month so that is a nice investment for them But we are still the ones to blame for buying gold as long no one buys it then joymax gets easy money simple as that.

i rather see joymax ban people who buy gold this could be easily checked so i wonder why they don`t do it.

i agree with you chaby... many players (the real ones anyway) have quit sro... i miss my friends.... before when olympus was kinda new, only two unions were in war with each other (that was fun).... but now... one guild (lead guild exyle) is slowly dying out... and its not fun anymore when you war with high level botters as we know, legit players are no match for them (they're not fully farmed yet)....

though im legit and wanting to quit sro, i still haven't quit.... i have goals to reach too and i already spent too much on this game to just quit it.... im extending my patience for joymax... let's face it.. they're trying their best to block those botters but as usual... it always turns out that the enemy is smarter lol

we also need cooperation from the players too, if they see bots, they report to JM ASAP :!:

T-Com is the new company name of the fusion of T-Mobile and T-Online (both daugthers of German Telekom) ... or rather it is a new name for Telekom's media sectors as the old names still exist ... didn't know they also sold ADSL in Kroatia (?) ... but I bet that they didn't build up own lines, so they rather rented the ones existing there and just sell packets for ADSL ... like most providers except T-Com do here...

I also have T-Com ADSL 6Mbit / 512Kbit and my line is fine all the time ... never had major lags in SRO when others didn't have them as well ... so you should rather blame the general connection .hr => .kr than T-Com in special (imo)

Joymax Needs some Scouts.. AKA Real People Payed to Scout out botting Sites and de-configure the bots to see what makes them tick.. The the game will be legit.. fun.. and Evenly Matched..
