what is the whole purpose of being only a theiving guild or only a hunter guild?

Ruin the fun in the game
I don't get it either. i mean it's just a game get out there and do whatever you want to have fun..
Pop, hunt, thief 2*+ or trade it dosen't matter as long as you like it and enjoying your game..

Its pretty stupid.

so they are well known to a certain job, and when they see a member from that guild they run

Like that guild Spectral from Troy... everyone knows they thief, if they started hunting it would look gay wouldn't it... that question is like asking whats petter pure or hybrid... ~_~

btw. one of my first chars was a hybrid 1:1, level 21, it was a testing char, it pwns lvl21-23 pure str glaives

i don't get it.. you just contradicted yourself...

but i do see the point i think... in that all of the members would then have high thief or hunter levels therefor altogether would be intimidating...

but then being a guild who does both might make it so you could have alliances with both hunter and thief guilds who might help you out.

especially if your main focus is just to hang out and have a good time... which mine is.

i don't want to be booted out of a circle of friends just because i wanted to play a different side of the game...

Yeah I agree - my old guild had a no-thief poilicy... it was just dull after a while.

Ah well my guild is known ot be verry bad and ugly thief guild pissed off the majority of traders/hunters ont he server now when i try thief or hunt or grind wtf when i try to have fun some one has to ruin it because of my guild's reputation!! g1

anyways, those no thief no hunt guilds are boring....wat if ur a hunter guild then during a suit war ur enemy decides to be hunter this time? are u gonna let em pass or suit up as theif instead?

if ur a thief guild, then wat are u gonna when a bunch of ppl robin ur guilds? i guess only thing u can do is pk them or help rob ur guildmates

UnderOath on Athens is an all hunter/trader guild, we have no problems getting recruits. We stay full with actives 24/7. Makes it fun to have a specialized guild and gets you well known. We always do free hunter escorts for people We also don't have a lvl requirement, we are almost lvl 5 and still recruit noobs, makes it fun to have your guild represented EVERYWHERE instead of the caves or Hotan only.

rules are lame, people that need to be lead need rules, strong individuals dont, games shouldnt have rules, as long as its not crossing to irl crime ofc, those rules should be in every guild^^

I for one find it lame when union people keep their alliance while doing different jobs. It's almost exploit-esque.
About 3 or 4 of my guildmates and I helped some other theifs take out a few traders and then grabbed what loot the higher levels didn't pick up. Normally we'd go hide while waiting to scroll but since there were like 5-10 high level theifs by us we stayed near them. Along comes some douchebag hunter in the same union as the theifs we were by. I notice he's in their union and think phew, doesn't look like he's gonna do anything. Then he kills all of us that aren't in his Union. Gay. I find that very gay.

Traders are panzies, hunters are gay, they all must die. We're gonna start a pure thief union on RedSea. Hunter suits are permissable for taking care of those thiefs that try to jack our loot, they die too. But otherwise, we're just gonna rape trades.

eh job specific guilds are gaygay gay

Why would you bring Spectral guild into this discussion. Spectral and the Spectral Union does all jobs... So, there really isn't any point in what you are trying to say.
