10%, although people get 30% of cheap stones to get their stats via assimilation.

10% will have a 10% chance of working, but also have a 10% chance of Farking up your item.

30% will have a 30% chance of working, but also have a 30% chance of Farking up your item.

Don't think so.

The assimilation % is the chance that IF the stone succeeds, it will affect another stat beside the one the stone is intended to. I don't think the assim % has anything to do with your overall chances for the stone working.

The reason one could be considered better than the other.

You have great stats on all but what you're trying to change - in this case you want a low assim % so that if it does work, you'er less likely to mess up one of the other good stats.

But, let's say your item has a bunch of crappy values, in this case you use the higher% assim stone and hope that you get assimilation because in all likelyhood it will do more good than harm.

I have one question, anyone had a jade stone's assimilation effect anything besides blues? or vice-versa?

In my experience I've prolly run about 40 stones, about half of them that worked. Of those I got assimilation one time and it actually improved a different blue (yay).

10% is better if you have stats you don't wish to get changed.
30% is good when everything sucks, and if something assimilates, it could only help.
