Just spent 3 million gold on buying lucky powders and 15 weapon elixirs trying to make my SoS Glaive + 4, got to + 3 three times and each time it failed. No real point in this topic except to say is it ever really worth to attempt +4, is it worth the money i would make off sale ever?

Also am utterly gutted as glaive was at +3 and was grinding happily, got greedy, want sympathy

15 mil to get my sword to +4. I win. I am sure someone here will post a whopper though.

Well, for me, 640k + 6th powders to get to +4 on a kickass spear. And it usually costs me <2mil to get to +4 on almost any weapon.

It's pretty normal losing that amount of elixirs to reach +4.

I used 28 elixir weapon to +4 my sos blade 52. lol

Yea, my character has the worst luck ever! I've spent over 3mil trying to get my sword to +4 and ended up with just +1.

While I watch my roommate +3 a shield with no trouble and sell it for MAJOR profit. -_-"

I wasted 19 weapon elixers and 1M gold trying to get a blade to +3. I was going to give up after the 3rd set, but someone told me some tips for it, but they didn't work, only seemed to make it worse lol I hate alchemy!! I tell myself not to do it, but I really needed the money I could have gotten from a +3 52 blade with nice crit. On Alps, I could have gotten any weapon higher level than I was and +3 it first time, not here . *SIGH*

LOL u wont belive this but trying to plus a lvl 16 SOM bow..oh jesus.. took 10m.. every time it got to + 2..failed >.>

10 mil to get +2? ur right i dont believe u

ive tried to +3 my som lvl 16 bow....gave up cost me 20k. +2 really easy.

well, it all depends on luck. Alchemy is evil lol. I spend 18mil trying to +5 my sos 52 blade but couldnt, at most +4. The following day, 2mil and it became +5 lol. Maybe u shld try another day

i got a lvl 42 som +3 bow, 44mil gold and a few + fings dat if i sell ill get like 60mil ( no buying gold ) ne1 wanna guess how ill give u a hint i never do alching

lol i got my friends 52 blade +4 from +0 first time no fails...

just 4 wep elixirs and 4 lucky powders...

Same thing i did with my shield awhile back.. excpet +5 from +0 all the way through....

I used 4 elixers to get my weapon +4 no lucky on the weapon. Never tried to +5 it Mayb I should have.

haha when i was 39 i wanted a good level 40 farming wep so ended up spending excess of 10mil on my level 38 wep haha only got it +4 by the time i finished farming so sold it on haha soo not worth it but iv got lucky a few times on my other gears

I also spent ANOTHER mill trying to +3 my farming bow. Finally managed it and am one hitting most archers now . (Sorry for KSing)

P.S. - Me and Limpet played from 8PM, till 2PM the following morning last night, MY EYES :|. Needed to get my share of the event though, haven't had winXP all week! Praise the Lord for Red Bull.

8 mil tryin to get my sos spear to +4. never worked.

I spend ~5 mill to get my bow to +4 too ... but after it went to +0 again I decided to stop the first time I get to +3 (cos it failed after +2 like 4 times) And now I am trying to do the same on a lvl 52 sos bow ... went to +2 twice already and then to +0... (Am still looking for a 42 sos though)

I remember when i was a noob and tryed my first +3 on a 32 bow.

+4 is always hard, normally fails for me 2-5 times before succes

i spent around 15-18 wep elixers and a bunch of lucky and all that jazz on my ..... lvl 38 blade, just to end up with +1. go me.


but on olympus i +5 my lvl 48 spear first try from +2... so i d k. alchemy on rome is teh gay for me so far.

ive only gotten really lucky once. gettin my +5 spear to +7 in 2 elixers.

oooooooo so u guys think + 4 is hard .. ? i get + 4 all my items i think .. super easy .. but since this seems special .. gaymax cursed my + 5 .. i cant get + 5 after like 20 astrals .. yea every day by day try +ing my sword + 5 dont work ever .. my spear + 4 dont work too .. my shield .. dont work too .. hell i hate this .. u didnt lose anything dude .. today i spent 40 m last i have on nothing .. now i have 38,234 gold .. alot ha ? cant even buy pots

and a friend who seems really lucky at alchemy that i works better if you leave a day between + attempts and stones...

From my experience I won't be doing more than 3-4 stones in a row!

The other day I did about 11 stones, the 5 were pretty good
but after that 3 Int1's and attrib assimilation also set in with the rest failing...

the 1st assimilation increased a stat...

the next 2 assimilations brought a necklace and a ring % from about 60 - 0% on both items

On Jewelry a high % like 75% is = to about +2 or +3 btw ^^
