This topic has already been started under the Guild section under Troy http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=8601 it's titled differently but the basically came down to what you are asking. But I am interested in what you got planned though

That sounds interesting. I'm sure some of those guys would be interested in showing off what they got. It's too bad that players has to try to come up with a tournment of sorts to try to come up with tops of tops between guilds. It would be nice if their was a guild ladder that kept up with progress of each guild battles and rankings, but ya I'm dreaming.

each guild will play agaisnt each other, abit like the official tournament they had, it will be point based instead of just winning and loosing one match i could do with other people help organise this, but this is only a plan so far, i need to dig up 20k GP first

Winner: 1 million gold + 20,000 GP

each guild will consist of 5 players, but there are rules:

only 3 level 70's - in which atleast 1 has to be a glaive/spear and sword/blade user

2 level 64 - 68 - these have no restriction on weapons

reason why i chose 2 lower levels is because i want to see people how people will use those 2 lower levels to an advantage on how to gain more points they might be weak, but they will get you your points

also this will only be invitation only tournament, as i dont want lots of new guilds being created just to enter

all guilds in 1 place, that way, you can gangbang the fck outta them, even CCF wont help you that way you cant complain about them ccfing, and they cant complain about you ganging up on them, because its royal rumble, you take out the best first no good if the rest of the community hates your guts

i havnt wared anyone yet with my guild, but it looks like you can add more than 1 guild to war at the same time, and alot more, because you can keep scrolling down

It doesn't matter because the ccfers and botters will win cause they have the best gear and weapons. This does not make them the best guild on the server. Just makes them the best botted or ccfer guild. Strategy, Planning and Team work will make the best guild. The way wars are set up now, strategy, planning and teamwork does not come into effect unless you consider standing in safe zone for 30 minutes and running out to just run back into safe zone and wasting time. Like I said unless you have some true objective with strategy to take down the opposing team with no safe zone, penalty with losing exp there is no point. Let their be some kind a penalty that affects a member that dies besides losing exp, perhaps less hp.

Everyone that does not have any common sense is always going to think the guild with the most SoS's, Bots or credit card fraud blah blah will be the best guild, NO! that only gets you so far. The rest has to be teamwork, planning and strategy. Which none of the said guilds besides nb have shown to do and I know this because they are fellow union.

I didn't leave gold buying out, just didnt' list it that was apart of the blah blah blah...

A decked out character can be taken out... lol, I know this because I've seen it many times and been apart of it. Including Holeephuc and Dung, which anyone would consider the toughest on our sever and a bitch to kill and they run all over the dam place which only adds to the pain in your ass with their own personal healers. We did this by communicating and working together and it took all of us to do it but we did so what you stated is not true. It can be done if you are organized.

are you guys saying no one has taken athen_vn and his garms+ (i dont know) sos set out? + sos +9 glaive?

id really like to see what a bunch of level 70's all using SST on dung would be like, no stun you reckon?

oh so you think that it was just dung and holee there? There has been many times we've been outnumbered. Thats where strategy comes into play to narrow the numbers and get it down to them two or just one. No one is saying that we never died in the process of trying to kill them, everyone has died by the hands of them hell I've died more times than I can count but to say that they can't be taken is ridiculous no one is god especially Osbourne. That is not where I was trying to take this topic.

My point is it would be great to see some kind of Guild Wars Tournament ladder every month where every guild has an oppourtunity to go up against each other to determine who shall move up. But it is sad to see it won't happen anytime soon because the system is not set up for that and probably will never be, so everyone opinions will vary on what guild is the best.

to be honest, athena_vn isnt that hard to defeat (well i havent seen for myself, but i have enough to base that conclusion)

athena_vn has a full sos set +5, and a sos+9 glaive @ lvl65 masteries

ambra from my guild is a maxed lvl70 glaiver with a SOS +6 glaive. all her garms/jewlery are NON sos, all +3/4

oo24koo has a full sos +5/6/7 garm set, with full sos jewlery, fully maxed, with a SOS +9 glaive.

ambra kicked his ass 4/4 times...

Well, I aint coming out there saying I'm the best because there isnt any such thing. Someone howsome someway will be defeated.

Though comparing me to oo24Gayoo is definitely wrong. I don't have full sos jewlery (huge advantage) and I am not a botting newb. 24K can't even handle his own character because he havent played it long enough to know how. Give him a few months of PvPing then yeah maybe, but right now he's a lvl 2x on a lvl 70 char - even though his bot made him fully farmed

As for the game, gears is a huge part of the game. Unless you all want to run out there with NPC gears it will always be a huge part of the game, especially pvp.

I have beat 24k before when his glavie was +7. Its +9 now so I dont know. But I do know one thing, if I was lvl 70 maxed skills all sos including jewlery with sos+9 glavie I would quit the game if I can't beat a farmed glavier with sos+6 glavie and no sos clothing/jewelry.
